Second warning WP:BLPCRIME

Second Warning: Please become familiar with our policies on biographies of living people and crimes. WP:BLPCRIME and WP:BLP There must be verifiable reliable sources as references, and the person must be convicted of the crime. This is really important, and you could lose your editing privileges if you do not comply with the policies of the encyclopedia. Should you have questions whether or not to post something about a person committing a crime, or to ask if a particular source is considered reliable, you can post a message at the WP:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard. Thank you. Netherzone (talk) 00:24, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Noticeboard discussion

Hello, Bestof2022,

I wanted to let you know that I've started a noticeboard discussion, Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard#Narcis Tacau, about the article you wrote. Feel free to participate in the discussion. Liz Read! Talk! 02:05, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Mumbai Maersk moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Mumbai Maersk, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources to establish notability. also remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a news medium(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. DYK for Ingo Böbel

On 8 February 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ingo Böbel, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that German economist Ingo Böbel became Professor of Economics at International University of Monaco after serving a prison sentence for embezzlement and tax evasion? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ingo Böbel. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Ingo Böbel), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Important notice

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you have added Creative Commons licensed text to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Wasser- und Schifffahrtsamt. You are welcome to import appropriate Creative Commons licensed content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Compatibly-licensed sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any Creative Commons content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:04, 9 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, User:ToBeFree, thanks for your notice. How can I proceed with minor informations from German Wikipedia articels, which I want to translate in English? Thanks --Bestof2022 (talk) 09:46, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bestof2022, as the German Wikipedia is compatibly licensed, you can use an edit summary like "This text has been translated from [[:de:Article Name]]; see the history of that page for attribution and license." Feel free to copy this for every edit that contains translated content from a German Wikipedia article. All Wikipedias are compatibly licensed, so you can also translate text from the French Wikipedia and use ":fr:" instead of ":de:". ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:29, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Embassy of Germany, Moskau

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Embassy of Germany, Moskau. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Embassy of Germany, Moscow. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Embassy of Germany, Moscow. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Fram (talk) 09:54, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Stefan Magnet requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://zeitungderarbeit.at/politik/auftraege-des-landes-oberoesterreich-gingen-an-bekannten-rechtsextremen/, https://www.sueddeutsche.de/muenchen/dachau/dachau-impfgegner-flyer-briefkasten-1.5478980, and Straight translations from this and the other sources used in the article. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Notice

The article Bodo Schiffmann has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
