Vandalism
This page is being vandalized due to a link on Digg to a prank related to the movie.

Edits
Regency Enterprises is the production comany, not the distributor of the film, so it shouldn't be listed in the infobox. Neither should gross earnings until the film ends its theatrical run, unless someone plans to update the figure every week, and we know that won't happen. 209.247.22.164 (talk) 14:52, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
Someone keeps putting a gross amount in the infobox which doesn't make sense because it changes every day. I agree with 209.247.22.164 that this figure should be added after the film leaves theaters. 67.79.157.50 (talk) 14:39, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Dates
A recent edit said the date of the marriage was 1994. Somebody else called it 1991 and got reverted. The two posters were anonymous. I don't recall a specific year in the book or movie (although it might be there). In any event in the book Marley died in 2003 after Grogran visited Shanksville on the second anniversary of 9/11. It is widely reported that Marley was 13 so I would be more inclined to believe an earlier date.Americasroof (talk) 02:22, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- The answer lies in the third paragraph of the first chapter which sets the stage of January 1991 with Grogran and his wife of 15 months (e.g., 1989) having the incident with the plant and talking about getting a dog. Since Marley died Christmas week 2003, this would fit the timeline. I don't remember how much of this was specifically in the movie. If the dates weren't in the movie, then they shouldn't be in this article although the dates could be in book article. Americasroof (talk) 03:19, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Differences from the book
Please refer to film article guidelines, which discourage film articles from including sections that compare the film to its source material. 209.247.22.164 (talk) 14:08, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
