Please let me edit the page, i have already started to restart and make a new page with same info but not talk about the reader as if they are actually there. What to do now

Hi. If you're going to request an unblock, I'm afraid that you're going to need to ask for it each time in the box, like you did above. I'm an administrator, but I won't be judging your unblock request myself, because I've decided to try to talk to you about some of the problems you've had and share ideas about what you can do about them. First, I understand that you were very upset when the content you put in Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden was taken down, but you really can't react the way you did when something like that happens. :/ If you're very upset, walk away from Wikipedia for a few hours or even a few days and calm down. It helps.

Working out problems with other people on Wikipedia is part of the deal here. The entire project is created by "consensus". We agree on what the rules should be, and we agree when articles meet them (or don't). When two people don't agree on something, they need to get more involved to help work it out. (It's not exactly a democracy. For instance, if somebody tells you that you can't do something and they show you a policy or guideline that says you can't do it, that's like having a whole lot of people agreeing with them. :) Ten people saying something is okay do not necessarily outvote one person with a policy saying they can't.) Because we work by agreement (Wikipedia:Consensus), we have to be willing to talk to other people about any problems they have with the way an article is being developed. You can do this on your talk page or their talk page or even on the article's talk page, but you have to do it.

You're obviously a good writer. What you wrote about the exhibits is very colorful and interesting. Some of it would never be okay on Wikipedia, though, just because of the policies we've agreed to about what articles should look like here.

But other websites have different rules. I notice that there is no article at all on the Cincinnati Zoo at Wikia Travel. I don't know all their rules, but they might be happy with your colorful writing there. Because it uses the same software used here, most of the markup will be familiar to you if you want to try to create an article there. See the page on Cincinnati, and the red link for the zoo, at http://travel.wikia.com/wiki/Cincinnati. I can help you get back some of the text you put in the article, if you want, to put it over there. (But you should not put over there any text that you copied from any other website. They don't take copyrighted text, either.) You can even put text written by other people on Wikipedia over there, if you do it right, because our websites use the same license. I can show you how to do that, too.

If you want to show that you can work in Wikipedia's environment, you may want to try creating an article about the zoo at Simple English Wikipedia. That website is connected to Wikipedia, but a little different--they try to keep their vocabulary simple, because they are writing for people who may not speak English that well. They don't have any article on the zoo, either.

If you decide to write one, the rules there are pretty similar to the rules here. I would recommend looking at some of them, especially these: Simple:Wikipedia:Consensus, Simple:Wikipedia:Verifiability and Simple:Wikipedia:No original research. Just like with the Wikia website I linked first, you can copy some of the article parts written by other Wikipedians, as long as you do it right. I can show you how.

If you do write the article at Simple English Wikipedia, and it is within those rules, people might feel more confident about letting you work on the one here. But please remember that if you decide to build an article at either place, your goal should be to make the best article you can there. :) Don't do it just so that you can get unblocked here. That may or may not happen, and those places both have lots of readers, too.

If you want to try that, I'd recommend writing the article at Simple English Wikipedia and ask some of the editors over there to help you figure out if you meet their policies. You can ask, when the article is finished, at Simple:Wikipedia:Peer review. They will tell you what kinds of changes you might need to make. That would not only show that you can write an article in the rules, but also that you can work with other Wikipedians.

If you want to request unblocking again here right now, you can do that. If you ask to be unblocked, you should make sure that people can see that you know what went wrong and what to do better. If you do all that and they still don't think it's a good idea to unblock you right now, you might want to work at one of those other websites for a while and try again in a few months.

When you're writing for publication somewhere else, you sometimes have to change the way you write to suit them. :) I write professionally sometimes, and I know how hard that can be. :/ And I'm sorry for writing so much; Wikipedians remind each other not to do that (see Wikipedia:Too long; didn't read), but I had a lot I wanted to share, and I hope you get some good ideas out of it. :)

• No, Don Lammers, I am sure, was commenting on Moonriddengirl's lengthy message to you. I am the one who removed a lot of the content of that article, and while I am sorry for you that some of your work is no longer in the article, I hope you understand that I did not do so for personal reasons but because in my opinion (and that of others, I think) the material was not of an encyclopedic nature--mainly for reasons of writing style (not neutral enough--see WP:Neutrality) and of verification (too much original research--see WP:OR). As Moonriddengirl suggested, other projects have other policies; part of my job, as I see it, is to make our own articles conform to our own policies and guidelines. Part of being unblocked is showing an awareness of such policies and guidelines, but, in this case, especially of showing that emotions won't get the upperhand when things don't go your way. I agree with Drmies; I think he's probably glad that I found another option for you. :) I've never edited that page myself, and I'm sure he knows that. My name isn't in that article's editing history. I don't think I had ever even looked at the article before I saw this situation at the Administrators' noticeboard and decided I wanted to try to help you.

It is part of our job to make our articles conform to our own policies and guidelines. Sometimes, we have to enforce policies and guidelines here in a way that makes other people unhappy, but we don't necessarily enjoy it. :/ A few years ago, I had to delete a page that a girl wrote about a tv show she had made up. She had put so much time into it that she had even written a script. I felt really terrible about making her unhappy, but we couldn't have it here. (I'm happy to say that we found a good place for that page on Wikia, too. She wasn't quite as good with this stuff as you are, so I actually helped her move that one.)

Anyway, I hope things go well with the article at Wikia and that at some point you do come back to help develop the article here in the ways we're allowed to by policy and guideline. :) --Moonriddengirl ^(talk) 11:01, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

I debated about putting that comment where it could be misinterpreted, but I was impressed that Moonriddengirl stepped in to suggest alternatives, and by her tone, and wanted say so. Perhaps I should have been more explicit. Your content and your research is not lost, here or anywhere. You already have it to work with, and I was already in the process of rewriting some sections to meet WikiPedia rules (right in the middle of one section when it was deleted), and will continue to do so based on what you wrote and anything else I can dig up. Your work will not be lost, even here, though by necessity it will take a slightly different form. It does look great. :) It is a great travel guide, but the community has decided that detailed travel guides are not appropriate for Wikipedia. They look for different kinds of information in articles. Don Lammers has said that he's trying to work with some of the content you wrote in the article already so that it does meet Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, so hopefully you will see some of that content return soon. The question here was never about your passion or even the quality of your work, just making your work fit in here and making sure you understand that you have to listen to and work with other people, even if that means that the article isn't developed the way you want it to be.

Whoa! I don't know where this is coming from (especially since the person you're talking to wasn't the one who removed the material), but if you talk to other people like that, you aren't like to get unblocked. :( You have to work well with others here. We have rules on Wikipedia about behavior and about what kind of content we publish. You have to follow those rules, or you can't contribute. What you are under right now is an "indefinite block". Indefinite does not mean forever. It means "show us that you can work with us and you can probably be unblocked." But continuing to talk to people this way and considering them "enemies" are likely to lead to your being banned. Okay, it seems that somebody came in and removed a lot of content from the article. Their reasons for doing so were not well expressed, so I've restored it. But it's very important that you understand if you return to editing Wikipedia that you do not and cannot control what happens to articles you work on. I've restored the stuff he removed, but if he has a good reason to remove it and consensus supports that, it'll be removed again. And we have to accept that.

Even if you feel very strongly about something here, you have to be polite when you talk to other people about it. You can't have enemies, and you can't yell at people and insist that you get your way. That isn't the way things work here, not for any of us. Even as an administrator, I'd be blocked if I talked to people that way. Please look at the history more carefully. I did not do either of the deletions. I did an edit on a section just before it was deleted, but I have not done anything to the article since the first deletion. I was hoping to start restoring some of the content soon, with appropriate citations, but from the comments above it seems best if I stay out of the article for a while and let other editors work on it. You're mistaken. The checkuser did not say they were "not sure." The checkuser said Zhand38 is a match with Okapi2196, meaning you were editing while logged on as Okapi. The article was never yours (or anybody else's) to "take away." You've already been told this, see also WP:OWN. So far, you seem to have either done nothing to learn how things are done here, or you don't care.

I appreciate you removing the attack. However, no matter how much you wish us to believe your accounts are unrelated, it's not in your best interests to keep bringing it up. Your way to eventually getting unblocked is not denial of what has already occurred, but rather showing admins that your behavior in the future will be in line with what's is expected here. • You say you aren't Okapi2196. However, Okapi was created three days after you were blocked and only ever edited Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, the article over which you were blocked for disruption and on which we know you ran two sockpuppets. CU says that from a technical outlook, Okapi is a "possible" match with you (in other words, at the very least there's nothing technical about Okapi to show it's unlikely to be you).

• So, I'll be straight with you. From the outside looking in, given edits like this, I think it highly likely that after being blocked, you ran Okapi as a sock, deleting content you had edited at Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, to make other editors "feel sorry" for you and perhaps make them think there was a need for you to be unblocked so you could "fix" things.

Please keep in mind, I'm not saying this was a smart or clever thing to do. I won't go into some of the reasons aside from the CU technical check that we don't think Okapi popped up by happenstance (but rather, was you), because I'm not here to teach you how to run socks.

Gwen's been very nice to you so far, but now it appears your behavior is driving off any admin who might come by your page and help you. I'll be completely honest here, you're indef blocked from the site. You don't get to choose when you "stop being a jerk." Stop, or you won't even be welcome on your own page. If you actually want to contribute to WP, you need to stop complaining about your socks. You have two confirmed socks, complaining about a third is very "I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the deputy," and honestly no one cares.

If you want to return to editing, stop complaining about your own behavior and begin showing people that you can obey the rules around WP. If not, soon this page will probably be locked for editing, and then you won't even be able to show admins that you're mature enough to add material to the subjects you like.

Close-up viewing on both dry land, as well as dramatic underwater viewing of magnificent animals, including charismatic manatees, provide an exciting experience for every zoo visitor. Infamous Plant Invaders-Banded dwarf cichlid, Green Severum, Oscar, Red piranha, Red Devil Cichlid, Tilapia. Siegfried & Roy's White Lions of Timbavati Opened as Big Cat Canyon in 1975, containing three 1-year old White tigers. Today guests can come and see the rare African White Lions (Panthera leo krugeri), 4 out of the only 300 White lions are at the zoo. Walk over the Canyon bridge to view the lions unobstructed in a natural setting. These lions were donated to the zoo by Siegfried & Roy. Rhino Reserve This attraction originally opened as the African Veldt built in 1935, with yards for Zebras, Elands and African birds, Blesboks, Ostriches and a Hippo exhibit, then in 1997 it became Rhino Reserve. Features: Nikki an Indian Rhinoceros, Kuvua an Okapi, Eastern Bongos and Grey-crowned Cranes, Greater Flamingos, Grevy's Zebras, and Klyde the Black Rhinoceros from the Columbus Zoo. Nikki had a miscarriage in October 2010, but she made history. Nikki gave birth to the first Indian Rhino born from AI. Kuvua is currently pregnant and will give birth in December 2012. The bongos Mac and Safi gave birth to a baby girl named Luna, on February 24, 2010. Greater flamingo chicks hatched in July 2011 but the babies are currently not on exhibit. Marty the zebra was born in September 2009. Even though the zoo doesn't have a black rhino baby, they do rank as a U.S. leader in breeding Black rhinos with 18 births. After Labor Day guests will not be able to view Kuvua, the bongos and the cranes, and the zebras for the construction on Cat Canyon opening early summer of 2011. Tiger Canyon This attraction is closed for the construction of Cat Canyon that will open in June 2012. It will be home to Malayan tigers and Snow leopards and it will allow guests to get face-to-face with the cats. These 3 grottoes were also the first bar less exhibits at the zoo for lions, tiger and African Birds. Features- White tigers and Cheetahs Jungle Trails Jungle Trails received the American Zoo and Aquarium Association's prestigious exhibit award in 1994. It is a naturalized rainforest habitat, teeming with rare and exotic wildlife and hundreds of plant species from Asia and Africa. The exhibit, with both indoor and outdoor viewing areas, and has become the home for the Zoo's collection of rare primates. Asian Animals Trails- Mueller's gibbons, Lesser Adjutant Stork and Lana the Sumatran orangutan. Tropical Asian Animals (building)- Slender-tailed cloud Rat, Banded palm civet, Sugar gliders, White-handed gibbons with a baby named Possum who was born at the zoo in 2010, Francois' langurs and Lion-tailed macaques. The langurs and the macaques rotate indoor and out. African Animals Trial- Pink-backed Pelicans, Saddle-billed Stork, Black-and-white ruffed lemur, Bonobo, White-naped Ravens, and Angolan colobus monkeys. There were two baby bonobos born at the zoo in March and then another one was born in May of 2010. Tropical African Animals (building)- African Striped Weasel, Garnett's galago, Grey Bamboo Lemurs, Diana monkeys, Eastern Yellow-billed Hornbill, Golden-breasted Starling, Hamerkop, Ruddy Shelducks, Bonobo, Aye-aye, and Dumeril's Ground boa. Kroger Lords of the Arctic Opened in the year 2000, this exhibit is a palatial 21,000-square-foot exhibit, featuring a 12-foot-deep underwater viewing tank, and a 70,000-gallon pool. Features- Polar bears, Barred Owl Bear line- Built 1937 called the Bear Line which it was originally called Bear Pits, is two very small and outdated grottoes for Spectacled bears, and American black bears Wings of the World This was originally the Reptile House that opened in 1937 and was converted into the Bird House in 1961 and then later expanded and renovated into Wings of the World in 1996. It features 9 exhibits that display birds and their habitats from all over the world. Spaulding Lorikeet Landing The Walk-Through Flight Cage opened in 1962 until it was turned into Lorikeet Landing during the temporary Adventure Down Under attraction that took over the Children's Zoo in the summer of 2006. This walk-through aviary allows guests to feed the birds for only 1$. Features: Black-capped Lory, Rainbow Lorikeet, Ornate Lorikeet, Red Lory, Nicobar Pigeon, Pied Imperial-pigeon, Kea, Cape Barren Goose, Magpie Goose, Ruddy Shelduck, Victoria Crowned Pigeon. Wolf Woods This exhibit opened in 2005 when it was originally called Otter Creek and featured Cheetahs in today's wolf exhibit. Features: Grey Fox, North American river otter, Eastern box turtle, two sister Mexican wolves who were born at the zoo in 2006, Thick-billed Parrot, Masked Bobwhite Quail Sea Lions- At the entrance of Wolf Woods, guests will see Callie and Duke, the California Sea Lions. This exhibit has 4 viewing areas including a 7ft deep pool with an underwater viewing. Before the sea lions came to the zoo, there were three Pacific Walrus', until they all died of sickness by 2002. Penguin Walkabout This is also the entrance to the Children's Zoo and it is one large yard for 3 African Penguins and 24 Little Penguins. There is a Little Penguin Zoo Baby named, Hershey, who was born at the zoo on January 10, 2011. She was the 22nd little penguin hatched at the zoo. Spaulding Children's Zoo The Children's Zoo opened in 1938 and renovated in 1984-1985. 55,000 square feet of exhibits that feature rare cousins of common barnyard animals, animals of the eastern U.S. woodlands, and animals of the southwestern U.S. desert. The statue of Joseph H. Spaulding Jr. at the entrance is by Lazlo Ispansky. Nursery: Padmae the Aardvark, Adams the Parma Wallaby, Lucy the Bearcat, Rocko and Jaz the Bennett's Wallabies, and Watson the Coatimundi. The animals in the nursery are trained to go around the zoo and interact with guests. Features: Siamangs, and Buff-cheeked gibbons Red Panda Exhibit- Naturalistic woodland landscape includes many unusual Chinese plant species to simulate the natural forest habitat of the Red panda. One pair of pandas is a gift to the Cincinnati Zoo from the Beijing Zoo. Swan Lake This big body of water takes up a lot of the zoo's ground, in the early zoo days, when the animals passed away, they would throw their carcass' into the lake, the Elephant skull in Jungle Trails was recovered from the lake. Features: Mallard, Canada Goose, Mandarin Duck, [[Northern Pintail, Redhead, Trumpeter Swan, Wood Duck and a separate island home to Red-crowned Cranes. Wetland Trails- Wetland trails is on the other side of the lake and it is home to a Sandhill Crane and other birds from Swan Lake. Dobsa Giraffe Ridge This attraction opened on June 6, 2008 and is also a favorite, mainly because it allows guests to feed crackers to the giraffes. The zoo originally had 5 Masai Giraffes (Giraffa camelopardalis tippelskirchi) when it first opened. After the summer of 2008, 2 giraffes them went to a different zoo. Phase II of Africa- Greater Flamingo, Grey-crowned Crane and Cheetah Encounters. Where guests will see the fastest Cheetah in captivity, a Red River Hog, and a Serval. Giraffe Mishaps: In November 2010 Akilah, a 2 year-old giraffe born at the Houston Zoo died of cardiac arrest. One of her horns got stuck in a netted fence and it couldn't get it out and later died. The netted fencing was then later removed. Now the zoo is home to 2 giraffes, their names are Tessa and Kimba. Tessa gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Zuri on April 2, 2011, and Kimba was the father. The word zuri means "beautiful" in Swahili. Zuri was everyone's favorite animal at the zoo. Just 2 months after her birth until she broke her leg. It wouldn't heal correctly, so they very sadly had to euthanize her. Marge Schott-Unnewehr Elephant Reserve Designed by Cincinnati-based Elzner and Anderson Architects and built in 1906. This is an early example of pour-in-place reinforced concrete. The building is a blend of Islamic design influences, giving a Taj Mahal-like appearance, and it went on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. This attraction opened as Vanishing Giants in the year 2000, until Giraffe Ridge opened in 2008. Elephant Reserve is home to 3 cows and 1 bull. The species of elephants at the zoo are Indian elephants (Elephas maximus indicus) and Malaysian elephants (Elephas maximus hirsutus). The cows' names in order from oldest to youngest are Schottzie II, My-Thai, and Jati, and the bull's name is Sabu. Jati and Sabu are the only elephants at the zoo that are in the breeding program and they are also both Malaysian elephants. The zoo has been trying to breed the two by putting Jati in Sabu's yard, but they never have mated since Sabu came back to the zoo in 2008. Sock puppetry

Okay, you created new accounts to use to edit the article even knowing that you are blocked and not allowed to edit Wikipedia. This is called "sock puppetry", Your other accounts are now all blocked, and your chances of being unblocked here at this point have dropped considerably. While you are blocked, you are not allowed to edit Wikipedia at all. If you do anyway and you are caught, you will just make it less likely that you will ever be allowed to edit Wikipedia, and everything you put on Wikipedia with your other accounts can be deleted just because you put it here against the rules. That means that even if what you put here is completely within policies, it can be deleted.

If you want to contribute to Wikipedia at some point, you need to stop what you're doing. I would recommend you reread what I wrote above about ways to prove that you can work on Wikipedia. The approach you're taking now isn't going to work. --Moonriddengirl ^(talk) 16:45, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

Zhand, you haven't shown any hint at all that you're willing to learn how things are done on this website, but rather, only that you want to do things your way no matter what. By carrying on this way after you were blocked, you've only made things worse for yourself here. As it stands now, perhaps you should take a break from Wikipedia and think things through more carefully. Either way, you will not be allowed to edit this website until you've shown an understanding of the policies and a willingness to abide by them. This will likely take some time.

Meanwhile, since you're not ready to write articles here, please do not use this talk page for writing drafts of article content. You may use this talk page only to talk and ask questions about your block (along with the blocks of your sockpuppets) and Wikipedia policies.

There is a way for you to get yourself unblocked, maybe in a week or two, or a month or two. This will not happen easily. Editors will have to see a big shift in your outlook and behaviour. I don't think you will be able to show this through an unblock request (yet) or by a simple post to this page. Meanwhile, if you open any more user accounts (see WP:Sockpuppet), you could be banned altogether from Wikipedia and it could take a year or more to get that lifted. I don't think you're carefully reading what editors are telling you. I'll put it another way, then. So far, it looks to me like you will not be unblocked in two weeks, maybe not even in two months, because you still have shown no interest at all in the policies. Rather, you still seem to be showing that you don't care about the policies at all. That's ok, but for as long as that lasts, you will not be allowed to edit here.
