Notre Dame of Banga - a Catholic school located in Banga, South Cotabato, Philippines.^[1] Founded by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate in 1952.^[2] Turned over to the Augustinian Recollect^[3] sisters on May 11, 1956 through the request of Bishop Gerard Mongeau.

Notre Dame of Banga celebrated its 50th year in 2006.

As Augustinian Recollects

Their main task:

the education of the youth.^[4]

Their inspiration:

Mother Dionesia and Mother Cecilia Rosa Talangpaz,^[5] their founders.

Their Commitment:

the NDB community commits to serve its clients fully trusting to the gracious hands of God and the assistance of the Blessed Virgin Mother from which the name of the school derived.

As a Catholic institution

As a Catholic Institution NDB commits to live an integrated spirituality, foster charity particularly in school and to intensify the renewed integral evangelization program geared towards the development of full humane Christian Filipinos, cherishing its tradition, culture and values in its pursuit for academic excellence.

Strengthen fraternal charity through God-filled friendship and renewed evangelization. ^[8]
Facilitate the integral development of the learners towards transformation through current researches, relevant curricular offerings and responsive community extension services. ^[9]
Fortify leadership and professional development of stakeholders through continuing education and intensive Augustinian Recollect Spirituality. ^[10] ^[11]
Develop a community of Christ-centered Augustinian Recollect Stewards who are environmentally caring and global leaders. ^[12]
Nurture one another in the shared mission for the sustainability of AR schools and social relevance of programs and services. ^[13]

School seal

The School Logo of NDB has the following Significance^[14]:

The Shield bears the National Colors: Red, White and Blue, an indication that this institution is genuinely Filipino.
The Cross occupies the center of the shield to give it the most important position in the field. It symbolizes the missionary character of the congregation of the authorities of the school.
On the Dexter side of the shield is the emblem of the congregation, the Augustinian Recollect Sisters.
On the sinister side of the shield are the attributes of St. Rita, Namely: The Crown of thorns and the rose, standing erectly in the middle of a white field which suggest snow.
Virtus and Scientia indicate the two-fold objective in teaching. Virtue and Knowledge characterized a true Catholic Education.
The outer rim contains the school's name- Notre Dame of Banga, Banga, South Cotabato where the place of the school is located.
