- If I were to review them I'd probably decline them per WP:N: "For example, routine news coverage such as press releases, public announcements, sports coverage, and tabloid journalism is not significant coverage. Even a large number of news reports that provide no critical analysis of the event is not considered significant coverage." (Emphasis mine.) - Using the same logic would delete every edition of every single sports tournament on Wikipedia because there can only be "sports coverage" of sports.
- I'm pretty sure many tournaments have been the subject of significant critical analysis beyond the routine coverage of individual games. Anyway, I didn't decline the submissions, and another reviewer might take a less strict view. Nonetheless the drafts shouldn't be placed in mainspace categories before they're accpeted, and we should wait with the creation of the category until we know that we have enough articles to make it worthwhile.
