08:29:35, 30 September 2015 review of submission by NeviRom

Dear editor, I have edited my article according to your notification. Added new reliable sources to show the notability of the subject, please review it again. Can it be resubmitted? thank you

Unfortunately, I don't think this topic meets the general notability guideline, so I don't think that it will ever be accepted, no matter how you try to improve it. sstflyer 08:31, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
So the problem is in the subject of the article itself, not the content, am I correct? Please specify which of the WP:GNG AVS Video Converter does not meet ("Significant coverage", "Reliable sources", "Independent of the subject" or "Presumed" ). I do not quiet understand why Total video converter or Any Video Converter meet the notability guideline, if it was only for the topic, as these are also video converters. Thank you for the answer. Hey SSTFlyer - I see that the QuestionPro entry was rejected for "notability" ; I thought I had "Cited" a bunch of news sources for making it notable; Here are some examples that are already cited; (all of which should qualify - I think as independent, verifiable and likely notable.)

a) Forbes : http://www.forbes.com/sites/adrianalopez/2012/08/23/what-entrepreneurs-can-learn-from-this-weeks-tech-acquisition/ b) Data Quest - India : http://www.dqindia.com/questionpro-launches-free-academic-license-for-educational-institutions-in-india/ c) Seattle Times Blog: http://blog.seattletimes.nwsource.com/brierdudley/2012/08/21/questionpro_expands_mobile_lin.html d) Seattle Times - I've also cited another publication from Seattle times for SurveyAnalytics - Which is the company that operated QuestionPro. http://www.seattletimes.com/business/dont-count-out-this-startup-survey-analytics-seems-like-a-plum-acquisition-target/

I've also editing and added more citations for the universities that use QuestionPro; Some of them are listed below; OKBU, Virgina Commonwealth etc.

I've also linked to a few Non-Profit institutions using QuestionPro under the Non-Profit Section. I've added in sections to clearly spell out the different aspects.

Finally, Captera listed QuestionPro as the #2 Survey Software here; http://www.capterra.com/survey-software/#infographic

This is above and below SurveyMonkey and Qualtrics (both of which have Wikipedia pages)

I would love to understand what else I can do to showcase and verify notability? Thanks much!

"Looks great! Cassianto, WP:CIVIL is a policy." -- Looks shit SSTflyer! So is WP:ESDONTS. CassiantoTalk 08:48, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just checked. I did not do anything in WP:ESDONTS. You seem to be the only editor opposing an infobox by making personal attacks. sst 10:42, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You provided a "snarky remark" about another user in your edit summary. You are clearly stupid enough to have to have this explained to you. CassiantoTalk 11:28, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, so reminding a user with a policy is "snarky", when you have made frequent personal attacks at others? Don't be a dick. This will be my last message to you. sst 12:47, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Ledger (journal)

You made a non-administrative deletion of the Ledger (journal) article, even though the deletion discussion did not reach a consensus. The reasons to keep the article were very clearly outlined and appropriate Wikipedia rules on Notability and, specifically, Notability (academic journals) were cited.

You deleted the article without providing any reasoning whatsoever as to why both Wikipedia's notability rules and the lack of consensus were ignored. Please correct that. PaperWario (talk) 21:58, 3 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Take this to WP:DRV if you want to. sst 05:07, 4 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, it would be more efficient if you provided an explanation for the deletion first. That way I could take that explanation to WP:DRV if necessary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PaperWario (talkcontribs) 05:42, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Last Voyage of the Starship Enterprise

Thank you for your close decision at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Last Voyage of the Starship Enterprise.

As it was nominated for deletion an admin, and closed by a non-admin, could you please do me a favor and greatly expand upon your "Keep" rationale closing decision at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Last Voyage of the Starship Enterprise ?

That way you can summarize your thoughts on why you closed the way you did, should others wish to refer to this discussion Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Last Voyage of the Starship Enterprise in the future.

Thanks very much,

Cirt (talk) 17:33, 10 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

My rationale is clear. Since there is no way this article would be deleted, keeping this article early would be appropriate. sst 01:32, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I happen to agree with you, but because it was nominated by an admin, and because I don't want to bother wasting my time on a useless Quality improvement project, I'd rather have an admin endorse it, and a much longer closure rationale. — Cirt (talk) 01:50, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Another option would be for me to vacate my original closure and relist the discussion. sst 01:56, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, can you do that? I haven't done a "relist" in a while so I'm not sure how to do it anymore, can you do it please? — Cirt (talk) 01:56, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A kitten for you!

Thanks for being so easygoing and relisting the deletion discussion for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Last Voyage of the Starship Enterprise.

Normally I've got no problems with a non-admin close, but I just want a really really really solid close here that can't be disputed in the future.

I want to make sure I'm not wasting my time on a Quality improvement project that could turn out to be useless.

Once again, thank you -- your kind and polite nature has been truly a pleasure !!!

Hi, you can read in 25 September section in nomination of article "The Punishment of Lust" where it wrongly showing that I have reviewed that article. I made those comment on Template:Did you know nominations/Anniyan which was wrongly archived. --Human3015TALK  22:40, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

pinging @BlueMoonset:.--Human3015TALK  22:55, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Human3015|, I think I've solved the problem. At some point, a comment was placed below the Please do not write below this line or remove this line. Place comments above this line comment at the bottom of all DYK templates, and when the nomination is closed, all the contents of the nomination are hidden ... unless any of them were below that line. In this case, the last three comments were below the line, so I've moved them into the closed template, and they should have disappeared. Please let me know if the issue remains. (Be sure to refresh your browser window first, though.) BlueMoonset (talk) 23:08, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
