Just a reminder, when you update the infobox, please update the parameter "club-update=" to the date you edit and/or last game the player played (it looks no different if you are using the latest stats). Matthew_hk tc 17:50, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Patrick Cutrone, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Alessandro Plizzari has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Medhi Benatia

No such thing of "transfer window" for loan deal turn definitive transfer. Unless the club want the legal and financial effect was delayed to 1 July (in the next financial and sport season) and stated in the press release, the deal happened immediately on the date of press release. Don't add original research on Medhi Benatia's deal for alleged effective on 1 July 2017. Matthew_hk tc 03:56, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Álvaro Morata, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Updating stats

Hi; I just wanted to inform you that on wikipedia it is protocol to update football players' appearance and goal stats (and the dates) in the tables and infoboxes only after the match has ended, and not before. Thanks, and happy editing! Best regards, Messirulez (talk) 21:23, 13 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks updating stats, but you really do need to wait until the game is completely over. You updated Insigne’s appearances and then he scored a goal so you had to go back. The stats should be updated only after the match is complete. Thanks. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 03:08, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@ReaperSox: I considered you removed my comment is a kind of read and archive Special:Diff/852079482 but it seem you keep on doing so by changing stats without stating where the data came from such as this edit Special:Diff/852080648 on Santiago Colombatto. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

You have been repeatedly, over a long period of time, warned about using edit summaries and citing your changes. You have continued to ignore these warnings and repeatedly add unsourced content to articles about living people. GiantSnowman 14:05, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I made references but someone block me...

Decline reason:

I cannot unblock you at the present time. You most certainly have not cited your changes and you have most certainly not explained the rationale for your edits in edit summaries. You should set your preferences so that you cannot save an edit w/o and edit summary. That way you will not forget. Your saying that you have cited sources casts doubt on you understanding of why you were blocked. If you continue in this wise going forward, I fear you will again be blocked. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 15:06, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

And FYI - removing historical warnings after you have been blocked (no doubt in an attempt to make you look better) actually just makes you look worse... GiantSnowman 17:01, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why????? WHY????? You serious? You've removed all the statistics updates without a reason, do not look at whether an update is true or not, you just delete it. Inconsistent. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ReaperSox (talkcontribs) 17:04, 18 September 2018 (UTC)q[reply]

Hi @GiantSnowman:, I'm quite concerned about this block and the edits by this user that you've reverted. All the reverts that I've come across on my watchlist are for stats updates that appear to have been properly implemented; the dates in the infoboxes and career stats tables have all been updated and the figures appear to be in line with sources. If the block has been made on the basis of these edits, I believe it is wrongful. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 17:17, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Using one sample edit: Special:Diff/860039701, the table and timestamp were updated, but the edit summary was canned one. I would recommanded ReaperSox leaving something in the edit summary such as "update, using [soccerway or whatever the name of the database]". Matthew_hk tc 17:45, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Mattythewhite: it was on the basis of edits like this and this - unsourced changes about BLPs, no edit summary either, and he has been warned/blocked for this before. GiantSnowman 19:20, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, although as the user has received only two warnings since their last block I'd have thought a L4 warning would have been more appropriate. Mattythewhite (talk) 19:30, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Mattythewhite: because this user has been warned - and blocked - before, with no change in editing pattern. What good would a further warning have done? They have had more than enough. GiantSnowman 08:22, 19 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I can understand. But why also remove the correct updates? At least restore them please. I spent some time there.— Preceding unsigned comment added by ReaperSox (talk) • contribs) 01:19, 19 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox dates

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions was not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats, by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 00:44, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
