전기리그

전기(前期) means first period of whole period which is composed of two periods. 후기(後記) means second period of whole period which is composed of two periods.

In Football Tterminology, First half, we call it 전반전(前半戰) Second half, we call it 후반전(後半戰)

So, I think appropriate translation is First stage for 전기리그 / Second stage for 후기리그 Footwiks (talk)

Hebaj

Hello, i saw you removed the albania under-21 stats (friendly matches) at Rubin Hebaj's infobox. You wrote that only official UEFA matches are allowed. Was this agreed & discussed at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football, and if yes, can you please sent it to me? Thank you -- Sadsadas, (talk), 20 November 2018, 12:30 UTC

Not sure if it was discussed, but all sources (worldfootball.net, soccerway.com, UEFA) are including only official matches, none of the sources are including friendlies, if you go through match reports and manually calculating caps this is probably WP:OR. Decentralization policy in K League

Hi~ Current version is accurate version which based on attached sources. South Korean Government, Compulsary, In order to spread football popularity in the provinces (except Seoul) (Korean word 지방 means provinces except Seoul, Not popularity across South Korea). These are keywords.

Some user edited without keywards. Probably He can' read Korean sources.

Please translate this part of article attached source: https://sports.news.naver.com/general/news/read.nhn?oid=015&aid=0003076649

지방 in Korean Dictionary
https://ko.dict.naver.com/#/entry/koko/e4c96df44eca4b29905888450e47be18
지방 means
(1) Area (2) in the provinces (except Seoul) / 서울 이외의 지역

지방 in this Policy means 서울 이외의 지역. Not popularity across South Korea.

K League 30th History Book also said "This policy was done by K League Front Office and South Korean Government.

November 2018, K League Vice President Huh Jung-moo said as belows
http://www.upinews.kr/news/newsview.php?ncode=1065597297445709
Please translate this 서울에 일화. SK가 연고지로 돼 있었다. 그런데 어느 날 일화는 천안. SK는 부천으로 가게 됐다. 정부 방침에 따라 그렇게 된 것이지만 어떻게든 막았어야 했다

Huh Jung-moo means that Although South Korean Government pressed, K League Front Office would have blocked definitely. But K Leageu Front Office made a big mistake.

In this Policy, South Korean Government was principal part.

Furthermore
In South Korea, Local self-government system began in 1996. Therefore, South Korean Government wanted that Professsional football clubs will plays in the provinces (Except Seoul) in order to support Local self-government system.

I know that this policy was involved in specific South korean situation and This policy was senseless, so foreigners can't understand the context in detail.

But Please believe me and korean sources.Footwiks

Regarding TWICE Dahyun

Hi Snowflake91, I'm a new user in wikipedia. Now I've just noticed your message on my talk page and find out how to communicate with you. LOL

Regarding about 'TWICE Dahyun', all of TWICE members have in other languages wikipedia page. But I'm waiting quite a long time for someone can create a english page, but still no ones did it(except Tzuyu). That's why it's my first time to created a wikipedia 'Dahyun' page. I'm just want to create a simple page and let other users to edit it, I've no idea it can becomes disruptive editing. So, I'll stop to create any page on wikipedia.

But I've one question, why not for you to create all their members wikipedia page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jiannoi93 (talkcontribs) 13:45, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Red Velvet albums

May I ask your input on something? I'm not sure if you're aware of how SM Entertainment names albums but Red Velvet has these 'special summer EPs' and their 'official EPs', now I and a few other users have been trying to write their descriptions that include this but won't make them confusing for readers. But of course there are users who keep editing them back. You see, I know Red Velvet's albums are the only ones who have these issues with the description since Exo, another SM group who have their own 'special winter albums' don't state 'official EPs' and whatnot in their articles and simply count all of them and just add that they're presented as winter albums. Thoughts on how to resolve this? Possibly a better way to write them? Lonedirewolf 13:37, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yonhap calls this new EP as the "fifth one", so for those special EPs, just write "xxx is a special EP released by RV in 2017" without any numbers I guess. For RBB, it can be simply "is a fifth EP by Red Velvet" without unnecessary complicating like "official" or "7th overall". Snowflake91 (talk) 13:54, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Will do, thanks. Lonedirewolf 10:43, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

IU Reception

Hiya, I pretty much made this account to able to do this lol: I added a review to the Palette page from a source that's on Metacritic/perfectly legitimate, I've seen it cited elsewhere here on Wikipedia too. If there is a real issue with it being cited please explain, you didn't seem to state any reason for removal in your summary. If I did something wrong in terms of style or whatever pre-signing up just let me know I've never used this site! — Preceding unsigned comment added by RealIUFan (talkcontribs) 21:28, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yeri

Sorry to bother you but about Yeri's article, I noticed you were the one who have been editing her page back to a redirect and there's one user who usually puts the content back. They did it again with the argument that the song charted, however it's only on the Gaon Social Chart which we don't even include for any artist's discography here. We use Gaon's digital chart, not even download or streaming. So would that still be considered notable and enough reason to make her page? LONEDIREWOLF 15:38, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yup, social chart is not notable, and even if it would be, this song is a collaboration and not a solo release. Snowflake91 (talk) 16:37, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Twice's page editing

Hello! Thanks for editing Twice's article. Just want to say that all those edits I made were from real sources such as The Strait times,The Jakarta Post, The Korean Herald and from Rolling Stone Japan . There was not fan cruft and no exaggeration. Plus, I am sure there is no need to delete the monographs list that I made. They were all real sources and those monographs have been released to the public. Furthermore, I spent hours translating the Japanese article into English so I guess you would know the hardship. Therefore, I believe there is no need for the removal. In fact, I've removed some articles that might have looked exaggerating . With due respect.

Sungshin University

Hi, currently, Sungshin Women's University uses Sungshin University as their official trading name and they started to use new logos with their trading name (https://www.facebook.com/sungshinwu/, http://www.sungshin.ac.kr/senglish.html and https://www.google.com/search?q=sungshin+university&rlz=1C1AVNC_enKR593KR593&oq=Sungshin+University&aqs=chrome.0.35i39j69i60l3j0l2.478j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 ). Korean Government also accepts their trading name and put it to http://www.studyinkorea.go.kr/en/sub/college_info/college_info.do?ei_code=530680. So, the trading name is widely used. However, you reverted without giving any reason. I will put the trading name again if you will not give any proper reason by this Thursday. Surely if you revert or put more information about their trading name, it would be much appreciated! Thank you. 1.245.23.206 (talk) 19:07, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

contract vs deal

What is the detailed difference between contract and deal? Can you explain why we only have to use deal in this case?

Loan is also a kind of contract and plaese check out below sources?

  • Yonhap News: The K League 1 club said they've signed Pesic on an 18-month loan contract

Footwiks (talk) 03:10, 9 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"in" a one year contract is grammatically wrong, if there is a word "contract" at the end then you should use "on" a contract Snowflake91 (talk) 10:04, 9 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I see. I misunderstood that we have to use deal in Loan transfer.Footwiks (talk) 13:15, 9 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please take it easy

You said to me: so what, the song was one of the many songs played, thats trivial

Why do you edit on South Korean entertaners page. Even not famous in South Korea. In my view, your editions are also very trivia.

GFriend Asia Tour/Summer Live confusion

There's this thing happening right now in GFriend's main article and I'm sure you're aware of it where "GFriend Summer Live in Japan" are supposed to be part of "GFriend 1st Asia Tour". If it is included in the Asia Tour, shouldn't it has the (at least) same setlist as other stops? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure it's the norm of concert tours. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Meatgrind89 (talkcontribs) 15:24, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't delete and Please use citation needed tag. I don't understand your action. You are more good at knowledge of the K League than me. You really didn't know about it? Have you seen the stadium with naming rights in K League? You definatly know that DGB Daegu Bank Park is the first stadium with naming right in K Leageu History.

One more, Why do you delete only on South Korean articles? For example, In Celtic FC Club official section, Management don't have source. Now You know that, Are you going to delete them?

If you reluctant to find and attach source in articles, Firstly use citation needed tag, Later on, somebody will find and attach the source. Footwiks (talk) 01:49, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It fails WP:NTOUR, wait that the tour is finished and then see if there are major in-depth reports about the tour. It says "Such coverage might show notability in terms of artistic approach, financial success, relationship to audience, or other such terms. Sources that merely establish that a tour happened are not sufficient to demonstrate notability.", I dont see any sources that would cover the tour in-depth with any of above criterias, there are just reports that the tour happened and thats pretty much it. Not worth talking to the IPv6 users since their IP would change before they would even read the message at their talk page, done that several times and they're still not updating the dates, if I fix the dates myself then a few days later they would againt not update it properly, so I just revert IP edits if they dont update the timestamp. Times in article "Music Program of South Korea"

Hello. I just wanted to explain why I undid your first removal of time slots. I did that because I reviewed the history of the article, and from its inception in 2014, the article has already included the show starting times. I only noticed you removed it after I updated the Inkigayo time. So I will not be undoing your current and second removal of the time because of the reason (it is not a TV guide) but I just want you to know the reason why I undid it in the first place, out of respect to the article's origins. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kntx12 (talkcontribs) 08:35, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Because back in 2014 the article was written as a fancruft, just look how many unsourced fancruft tables there were about those music program wins. Snowflake91 (talk) 10:04, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Original Research?

I've edited Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Hi-pass and others and invested a lot of time. You have undone it with the reason "orignal research". What do you mean this ridiculous "orignal research"? Do you have any censorship for original research of Korean women balleyball player. I've really disappointed! --MeinlieberKim (talk) 08:47, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You've included a note "Depth chart is calculated by the number of times being involved games" which clearly suggests WP:OR, look at other clubs, there are only a number, position, height, and date of birth listed, no "starting" / "bench". Snowflake91 (talk) 08:55, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Actually the depth chart is not from me. I've found "depth chart" in articles about V-league Man's club in en WP (e.g. Incheon Korean Air Jumbos) and thought that such infos of depth chart is useful for people who is not enough informed about Korean valleyball players. By the way, depth chart is a common term of prof. sports. --MeinlieberKim (talk) 09:27, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Music Program Wins deleted in MOMOLAND's page.

Hello: It has come to my attention that in one of your "edits" you completely deleted and cleared off all of MOMOLAND's music show wins, with the pretext of "Not actual awards". Each music program winner is in fact, given an award for their first place. Also, you've made edits in other K-POP related pages without deleting their music programs wins (example: GFRIEND, G-IDLE, BLACKPINK) Can you please explain why did you choose to delete it on MOMOLAND's page? Thank you.--LUCASISALIVE (talk) 04:17, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Music shows are broadcasted by Korea TV stations be it MBC KBS etc. They take into consideration digital points real-time rankings from stream sites and factor in online voting from their applications and websites. So you mean to tell me what SK have been doing all this time cannot be counted as actual and official?

Even the likes of what you say actual awards as Mnet Asian Music Awards factors in social media activity for some of their awards. Since certain awards involve no digital points, in consideration could they be counted as official compared to the ones where judging, digital points and ranking are involved and being smaller than a year end award show?

And with regards to the edit, unless explicitly stated that it is in violation where format for a separate article must be made for awards and nominations, I don't see how there could be a problem. Commonly that format is used when said group has a substantial history as well as more categories unlike a younger group which haven't gone through much. Considering if multiple awards and nominations obtained exceeded let's say twenty, I see that then as sufficient for a separate article along with previous condition of a substantial history Trailblaze24 (talk) 16:46, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, you might be interested in the content of User talk:Chubbybangs where this user and the other user in the discussion related to Talk:Momoland and the section above are having a chat about you. It seems these users are a case of WP:SPA. They are discussing about your edits and trying to gather more users/accounts in addition to speculating about your intentions. Redalert2fan (talk) 17:15, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly seems to be evolving in to Sock puppetry by using another person's account looking at their intentions. Redalert2fan (talk) 17:32, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for noticing, thats Wikipedia:Canvassing, will report them if they will continue. Snowflake91 (talk) 17:40, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I`ll also keep a look out seeing the messages posted by them. I just thought about why they needed to find an older account; they can't edit Momoland because its semi-protected. Not to speculate but they seem to want to evade that. Redalert2fan (talk) 18:14, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I am starting to see a pattern of accounts that are older but have not edited for months or have single digit edit counts yearly trying to re add the awards, without understanding any of the policies and not providing any concrete reasons + again they seem to be WP:SPA's. They do also all interestingly share the opinion that we "do not like" the content and we wrongfully deleted it in about the same way, not sure if sock puppets or not. However do you think it would be an idea to go for WP:ECP? Redalert2fan (talk) 14:11, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Leave it for now, but if more sleeping 5+ year old accounts like User:Chyuchank magically appears out of thin air after not editing for years, then request WP:ECP. Snowflake91 (talk) 14:27, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why delete the "FANCY YOU" edit?

It was from a valid source (I even added a reference) from their official Twitter page, and it will help inform unaware ONCEs, hype them, and remind them of the comeback. Wikipedia is not meant for "hyping the fans", Twitter is a WP:Primary source so its unreliable, just add it when its released. Snowflake91 (talk) 09:32, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Going by that logic, Wikipedia is also used to inform people. I used the wrong reasons, but there are other reasons that can justify it. And if Twitter is an "unreliable" source (even though it's literally stated as their official account), why use it as a reference point for TWICE TV5? I don't think it violates unreleased content guidelines but since you're more experienced than me, I'm just going to edit it the day it's released. Twice

Please seek consensus and stop edit warring to remove content supported with reliable sources at Twice (group). Popularity is what defines pop culture, and polls conducted by respected organizations such as Gallup are how we determine whether an artist has a large fan base per WP:ENTERTAINER. It's ridiculous to call them "trivia". Thanks, -Zanhe (talk) 19:04, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No, soompi.com is not reliable, see WP:KO/RS. Snowflake91 (talk) 19:30, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Removing soompi is fine. I added it simply because it's the most complete English translation I could find for the Gallup Korea poll. This poll you call "trivia" is reported worldwide such as Manila Post, but I couldn't find other English-language sources that name all top 20 artists, although SBS TV (Australia) did that for the 2017 poll. -Zanhe (talk) 19:39, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop editing my truthful work.

Since wikipedia does not seem to have a personal message icon and won't let me reply. Mind your own business. Cleveland has plenty more pictures than Jeonju, just not in a gallery form. You can only remove when something is not true. How would you like it if I went and vadalized your pages? The pictures are a true and accurate depiction of Jeonju. Cleveland has more overall pictures. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shamus7792003 (talkcontribs)

The pages are not "yours", the guidelines about that issue are clear, I posted you two guidelines and you ignored them. This is an encylopedia, not a Facebook or Flickr to spam the article with 30 tourist pictures. Snowflake91 (talk) 10:25, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It's not yours either. These are real places and people reading an article would like to see pictures to visualize them. Most of these pictures have been here for years and no one had a problem with them until now and except for you. Also, some of them were posted by others. But since being an online know it all is your thing, I guess I'll leave you to your childishness. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shamus7792003 (talkcontribs)
(talk page watcher) @Shamus7792003: There is absolutely no reason to spam an article with a “gallery” of images. Wikipedia is not a tourist guide, or a photo album, it is an encyclopaedia; see WP:GALLERY. Anyone can edit any Wikipedia article, nobody owns an article, so Id advise you that telling an editor to “mind your own business” is not good form. Just because something is true, does not necessarily mean that it belongs in articles. A few images may be useful to the article, but certainly not in the form of a gallery. If you and an editor disagree, may I suggest that you either A) message the editor on their talk page in a civil manor, or B) open a discussion on the articles talk page to seek consensus or a middle ground on the matter. Please remember to be civil and not throw personal insults into any conversation, this will not get you anywhere and can result in you being blocked from editing. Remember sign your talk page comments with four tildes (~). Alexanderlee (talk) 10:40, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kan Jongwoo

Hi, Last time the article was deleted, I mistakenly wrote the draft without knowing the subject already exists/mentioned in various articles. Also the one who requested/nominations for deletion, wasn’t even qualified to judge korean subjects and saying my sources weren’t valid. (While every reference were national level news articles). I did everything I could to explain and wrote into discussion, but no one responded and deleted. Therefore, I’ve collected more sources and reposted. Maybe moving draft to existing article was the violation the last time, and that I’m fully aware and will not do ever again. But this time I’m just creating an article with more reference since the subject were mentioned in other pages. J2love (talk) 10:35, 11 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds good. She'd meet WP:ENT #2 "Has a large fan base or a significant "cult" following". That she actually topped a K-pop idol list for number of fans is probably helpful towards that. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:27, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

But. I think Playoff is more common than here.

And, K League Promotion-Relegation Playoffs is very long title and this sentence already have hyphen.

Maybe you're a bit abrupt with your edits...?

Just a bit of feedback for you. I can see you do a lot of quality editing which is great and I can see you know your K-pop, but... your abrupt revert of my attempt at that Jisoo article without any explanation either in the edit or on my talk page is the kind of thing that puts off a lot of people editing Wikipedia. Don't forget Assume good faith. I'd spent about 30 minutes trying my best to put together the basic info for that article, so when it got reverted so instantly like that without any explanation, it felt like I'd had my homework ripped up by the teacher and thrown in the bin. You could have a least given me a chance (or indeed any other editors) to improve the article. Even one day or maybe a week might have helped, not four minutes. Articles don't have to perfect from inception. I can see why you reverted it after your explanation which is fair enough, but it's just the way you went about it which wasn't appreciated by me. Seaweed (talk) 17:07, 24 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I (weeneilly) need to raise the same point about abrupt editing. I recently added a table "single nation finals" on the Champions League and Europa League pages. You deleted the table giving the following reason: "trivial, why was this added recently, it is clear from the previous table when the same country had 2 teams in the final." Based on this logic, don't the two tables under the performances header, "by club" and "by nation", also need to be deleted? Both those tables summarise information which is clear from the previous table. I believe a table which shows the number of times two teams from a single nation has reached the final is helpful, in the same way "by clubs" and "by nations" are summarised under "performances".

Yes it is trivial, the article is just a "list of finals", not a "detailed statistics and trivial facts about CL finals", its completely not needed. And next time sign your post, not that you inserted a username by someone else after your post. Snowflake91 (talk) 19:44, 25 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The performance tables, by nation and by country, are NOT a list of finals but detailed statistics about CL finals. Can you please reply my point about the performance tables being similarly trivial to "single nation finals"? weeneilly 17:00, 26 May 2019 (BST)
I agree with Seaweed and have restored Jisoo (singer) from Draft:Kim Ji-soo (singer, born 1995). She's voted among the top-10 idols in Korea and certainly notable. Please stop deleting the article without seeking consensus first. -Zanhe (talk) 20:18, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It's not up to you (or other 10 voters) to decide if music shows are important or not.

Korean newspapers report on music show wins, they are discussed during interviews. In Korea music show wins are really important, you can edit wiki (and send link to some page created by users), but you can't change the fact that music shows and wins have some impact. It boosts any group's popularity and allows them to earn more money from festivals and concerts. If they are 'not actual awards' or something, why do they affect groups' careers like this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.130.155.153 (talk) 22:37, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page watcher) “it’s not up to you (or other 10 voters) to decide if music shows are important or not.” Actually, yes, it is. That is how consensus works. Users discuss things, bring up relevant arguments, and decide whether something is notable or not, and whether it should be included or not. Alexanderlee (talk) 22:41, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Include them in the prose when they are so important to affect careers, or include them at the song's articles, like Boy with Luv#Weekly awards if you really need tables. And use this format, its better, but maybe without "year". Snowflake91 (talk) 22:48, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Seek for Opinion

Hi there, if you don't mind me asking, as you're someone constantly editing the page as well as following WP:NPOV I came to seek for your opinion/advice on a matter that was brought to my attention recently regarding Jennie Kim's page. I feel as though her page should've been titled "Kim Jennie" instead due to both her nationality as well as ethnicity being South Korean thus following the standard way. She may have lived abroad but it was only for about 4-5 years after living in South Korea for 9-10 years. This now brings me to my main point, should it be left as it is or be moved to "Kim Jennie"? Thanks in advance. Suugaapio (talk) 03:36, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Twice's fanclub's name and Twice's main colors

Hello, I just want to ask that why you don't accept this paragraph in Twice's wikipedia post:

"On September 23, Twice released their two official colors, namely Apricot and Neon Magenta, which signify the group and their fan club called "Once". On October 19, Twice revealed their official cheering light with their official colors called "Candy Bong", which is inspired by song "Candy Boy" from their first EP.[40] In celebration of Twice's first anniversary since debut on October 20, the group unveiled their new song "One in a Million" from their upcoming third EP, Twicecoaster: Lane 1, through a live broadcast on Naver V Live. Twicecoaster: Lane 1 and the music video of pop dance song "TT" were released online on October 24."

This edit is written before but it has mentioned about the Twice's fanclub name and their main colors, which are also important to an artist/idol and we should keep it, shouldn't we?

Yugoslavia

FIFA and UEFA both recognize that any achievements at both club and national record are indicative of the successor member states that follow it. Since Red Star Belgrade is based in Belgrade, the capital of the modern state of Serbia, therefore the Champions League win counts as a Serbian victory in the modern era. Please do not try to deny what is fact and insist on the a communist dystopia however offensive it is to many survivors of communist, totalitarian regimes across the world.

This also applies to Dynamo Kiev which is currently a club that plays in Ukraine, the club is recognized as a Ukrainian club and is not Soviet anymore. Please try to digest this bit of reality. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DM7SZ (talkcontribs) 00:36, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Constant Deletion of KPOP Artists' Awards.

The day our Kpop Idols won their first trophy is so important to the fans and to the artists themselves. Often times, they even make it a goal to win these 'music show trophies'. Not having that feature for their Wikipedia page that is about their 'AWARDS' doesn't make sense. If it's important to fans and artists, why are you putting in so much effort to delete that section. WE GET IT - You have all the time in the world and you'd rather count the 'major' awards as the actual awards, which btw, is stupid and you should stop. wasting. your. time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GFriendSupport (talkcontribs) 11:53, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Per project discussion, search it somewhere at Wikipedia:WikiProject Korea/Popular culture, all re-insertion of music show awards will be reverted on sight. Their first win is already metnioned at GFriend in prose + you can add those awards at the song's articles (Navillera etc.) under "accolades", but only with a reliable source (so no soompi/allkpop). Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Korea/Popular_culture#Are_music_show_wins_notable? The music show win can be described in the biography section for the group / singer. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 22:23, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sana > Controversy > Instagram post

If you click the link, you'll see that it points to the actual post that you claim is the lynchpin of her notability. It's not some kind of spam link promoting her activities. It's an actual citation, stop vandalising content. Patronanejo (talk) 22:35, 19 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Instagram post is not a source of any kind, and you cannot even see the message if you're not logged in Instagram. Snowflake91 (talk) 08:53, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

List of Buriram United F.C. players here is source for 3 (1). He was short there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kosasanmlad (talkcontribs) 16:23, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And where is the source at this page? You cannot use another wiki article as a source for anything Snowflake91 (talk) 16:27, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Luna

I notice that you've reverted a new user's edits on Luna (singer) three times, but have not once reached out to the user to explain why you're reverting their edits. That's not particularly helpful, and is actually quite bitey. A bit of talk page discussion might go a long way here. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:56, 21 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The name was changed to "Luna Park" which is absolutely nowhere used, and the user tried to use external link image from Twitter in the infobox, so what should I do if not revert those test/disruptive edits? Snowflake91 (talk) 15:00, 21 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You should explain to the user why you reverted them so they can learn not to make the same mistake again. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 22:49, 21 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I’d like to add to this. I’ve noticed from my watch page that you’ve reverted the same user eight times, across three articles (Jennie (singer), Lisa (Thai singer) and Rosé (singer)). It wasn’t until your eighth revert that you made any attempt to let the user know why you reverted any of their edits. You hadn’t used any summary until this edit, and hadn’t explained why on their talk page either. The IP editor looks new, and without explanation or guidance they aren’t going to know why they’re being reverted. This seems to be a common theme. Alexanderlee (talk) 14:47, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Because its not worth, IP editors doesnt read any guidelines you gave them or edit summaries, he already restored those edits despite being told at the talk page. Snowflake91 (talk) 15:02, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The editor in question is not an IP editor, but a new user. If you don't choose to interact with the user, they will not improve. The single warning that appears on the user's talk page is from the XLinkBot about adding incorrect external links; this warning has nothing to do with the behavior that you are reverting for. If you don't engage the user, you are every bit as guilty of edit warring as they are, and are equally likely to be blocked for this behavior. And what actually makes SNPortal a reliable source? Its not owned by any of the media groups, and since anyone can apply as the contributor according to their site, the news are therefore written by a non-professional staff. Snowflake91 (talk) 12:09, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No, anyone can't. It is owned by sociaty SNPortal (SNPortal.si je vpisan v razvid medijev, ki ga vodi Ministrstvo za kulturo Republike Slovenije, pod zaporedno številko 1894) and it has a professional editorial board that approves the articles and potential assocciates. SNP articles are used all over wikipedia. 78.153.33.159 (talk) 12:15, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
