Proposed deletion of Mamonde[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Mamonde has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

promotional article, with non-reliable sources

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, Lonedirewolf. I see that you have made a new article about this comedian instead of fixing up the old one. Is there anything that you want to move from the old draft before it is deleted? Autopatrolled, manual of style[edit]

Your articles are well done, but I would suggest that you browse through MOS:FILM and {{Infobox film}}. For example, plot summaries are not supposed to be cited. They are implicitly cited to the film itself. Also, executive producers are not credited in the infobox. The producer field is only for the film's main producer, which you can usually find credited at Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, or Screen International. Internet-based databases can also be helpful, but I would rely most on professional industry magazines, which have a clear editorial staff and history fact-checking. The IMDB, in particular, is prone to error, and it is not a reliable source. It's a good starting point for research, however. If you asked for it, you could probably get the autopatrolled user right. Just remember to create the talk page along with your article. For film-related articles, you should add WikiProject Film's header to the talk page. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact me on talk page, or you could post to WikiProject Film's talk page, which is pretty friendly and helpful. Rule about surname in Wikipedia.[edit]

WP:SURNAME

After the initial mention of any name, the person should generally be referred to by surname only, without an honorific prefix such as "Mr", "Mrs", "Miss", or "Ms", or by a pronoun.

I've found in Wendy Son, you don't follow the rule about surname in Wikipedia. I advise you change content in that page according to the rule. And, I remembered I've told you about that. K34c l4m v13c t0t 09:11, 6 September 2014 (UTC)

Stage name. All the Red Velvet members use a stage name or in Wendy's case just her first name. Lonedirewolf 14:13, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
Can you tell me why do you use stage name in a BLP article? And the article you use to prove you're right is not a Wikipedia guideline, it is written by a user. K34c l4m v13c t0t 14:39, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
Read it again WP:SURNAME. Besides, she's only credited by her first name. See also: Mononymous person. Examples: Madonna, Rihanna, Drake Lonedirewolf 15:08, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
OK, if you want to keep your edit, just keep it. But she is not famous enough to be a 'mononymous person'. K34c l4m v13c t0t 18:19, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
What does that have to do with anything? A person uses a mononym and is credited as such, hence, the mononym. 'Famous enough'? What kind of argument is this? Is that in the description? Go and review everything I've said. Feel free to read the articles again. Lonedirewolf 18:24, 6 September 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Villain and Widow.jpg[edit]

A tag has been placed on File:Villain and Widow.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Replaceable fair use File:RedVelvet1662.jpg[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

Thanks for uploading File:RedVelvet1662.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Random86 (talk) 05:57, 8 August 2015 (UTC)

Perfect Velvet, Peek-a-Boo[edit]

Firstly, Perfect Velvet is not cluttered by including another collapsed track listing on it. I've reverted you there, so discuss and stop removing it. Secondly, The Perfect Red Velvet should not have been made by you in the first place because repackages normally should not get their own pages. There is normally not enough content to justify having its own article, and you appear to be one site (Naver) over and over anyway. Citing articles from one source over and over isn't showing wide coverage. This fails WP:NALBUMS on its own, so I have redirected it again. We need independent reliable secondary sources for articles. I understand you created the article and maybe put some work into it. You can still redirect that energy into merging it with Red Velvet or I will formally propose it myself because it should not be its own article. Finally, in your edit to Peek-a-Boo (Red Velvet song) you repeated a sentence and restored unencyclopedic wording. It is not impartial to write "this band has a unique concept". You sound like you're trying to advertise or hype Red Velvet. Great if you're a fan, but that's not what Wikipedia is about. Red Velvet are hardly special enough in the entirety of the music world for having a concept behind their band name to justify this. Read WP:PEACOCK and WP:NPOV. Ss112 00:30, 30 January 2018 (UTC)

The Naver site posts articles from different sources. If you clicked the link or read them you can see that. My apologies I should probably have just used those there in the first place. No, I was not 'offended' but you seem to be so my apologies for that as well. That wording was used because the sources from South Korean news sites state so and it was intended to let people know why that particular title and why in the next paragraphs it states SM wants them to 'perfect' that concept which people reading the article wouldn't have an idea about. I'm really concerned about your view of artists 'not being special enough' to not have a valid and important part of their career explained in the article. From the titles of their albums alone, it's obvious. From responses in South Korea and even internationally, it's obvious. I haven't made statements I didn't have a source to back it up which includes its importance in South Korea, if in your views, it isn't important enough outside of it. I would like to understand how that 'isn't special enough' for you? Lastly, I moved it because it will eventually be as more content is added. I'll put it in the talk page.Lonedirewolf 02:28, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
First off, I don't see how I could be offended considering it's not my content that was removed or anything, so that's not the right word. Also, when you reverted just before, you left an edit summary on Perfect Velvet for what I did on The Perfect Red Velvet, which would confuse any reader who was scanning the history because it's not concerning that specific page. So please don't do that. I meant "an extra 2,000 bytes" for the Perfect Velvet article. Also, because you used the word "unique". That is not impartial wording, and you weren't directly quoting. That sounds like someone who likes Red Velvet and wants to write about them in a glowing way. You're allowed to like who you write about on Wikipedia, but we're not a publication advertising the group, we are an encyclopedic that should not be written from a fan's point of a view. That means no "Red Velvet's music is great, they have such a unique and special concept behind their existence". No editoralizing. Ss112 05:39, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
Also, do not restore the wording at Peek-a-Boo (Red Velvet song) again. Take it to the talk page, because to continue reverting is WP:Edit warring and you should follow WP:BRD because I am assuming another editor removed your wording for violating WP:PEACOCK. Read that article I linked to. "unique" is directly in that section as a word you should not use. Thank you. Ss112 05:44, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
So what was your indication that I was offended? Also, you didn't exactly take it to the talk page either when you removed the content on The Perfect Red Velvet? Nor opened a discussion to move the page? About Peek-a-Boo, feel free to remove the word, if you insist they'll be seen as my own words, not the whole statement. This also isn't about being a fan. I edit most articles related to K-pop. I just take the wording from the Korean articles. I have opened a discussion on the talk page of the album but you removed it once again.Lonedirewolf 11:18, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
Yes, you're right—I don't need to take it to the talk page, because I'm not the one desiring the change of content. You want the change and you were reverted—therefore, you discuss per WP:BRD. Read the page at the link. Become familiar with it. Restore the same wording once more on "Peek-a-Boo" and you'll be reported to an admin. You are being disruptive by continuing to restore it—even without "unique" we don't need a whole explanation of the group's concept. It is not essential whatsoever. Learn what to do when being reverted and stop being disruptive. Discuss it without restoring the change at the talk page. I haven't removed anything from any talk page. Ss112 12:37, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
Content disputes need to be sorted out on the article talk page where WP:CONSENSUS should be sought. Edit warring is a no no. See also WP:DR if you need more help in resolving this or any other disagreements. Thanks. -Ad Orientem (talk) 14:02, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
Find me 40-50 articles (even English sources) related to the release of their albums and promotions that don't mention that and I'll stop. But I can find over a hundred with English and Korean articles that do. Especially when the title itself is related to it.Lonedirewolf 05:22, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
No, you should stop because an admin asked you to. Content disputes (when you've been reverted) are sorted out on the talk page. You've now been reverted by two users (including me, but most recently Joshua Zhan) and you refuse to stop. I say stop now or you will most likely be blocked to avoid further disruption. Ss112 06:59, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
Explain to me in the talk page of Peek-a-Boo's article your reasoning for removing it after your last comment about it and no, "Don't care" is not a valid explanation.Lonedirewolf 07:10, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
I didn't intend to remove the link you provided, just your removal of the commented-out message, which is to curb you (or another user) thinking it needs to be there in future. "Don't care" was in response to whatever you said—when you're reverted and just continue on, it really shouldn't matter what you say in summaries because edit summaries don't sort content disputes or anything else out. It wasn't intended to be an explanation. Ss112 07:17, 31 January 2018 (UTC):
Then there will be no problem with me restoring the link is there? Because I will.Lonedirewolf 07:26, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
And you evidently saw I didn't remove it with my subsequent edit. Ss112 07:56, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
Good then, so we're done here.Lonedirewolf 08:03, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
  • Hi Lonedirewolf. It appears that you have resolved your immediate disagreement with Ss112. That's good. However based on some of the above I think it's possible that I was unclear in my earlier message. Edit warring is not permitted on the project in all but very rare cases (i.e. reverting naked vandalism copyright violations and the like). Being right in a content dispute is not one of those exceptions. Persistent edit warring is a specie of disruptive editing and that doesn't generally end well. There are a lot of ways to deal with disagreements on here that are available without causing disruption. Please keep this in mind when you next find yourself in this kind of situation. Thank you for your contributions to the project. Best regards... -Ad Orientem (talk) 14:24, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Peek-a-Boo MV screen capture.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Peek-a-Boo MV screen capture.png.
