Speedy deletion nomination of Nomi writes
Hello NomiWrites,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Nomi writes for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can <span class="plainlinks">contest this deletion</span>, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 12:55, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

Welcome!

Proposed deletion of Malik Nouman

The article Malik Nouman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

referecenses belongs to Ahmad Faraz.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Information icon Hello, I'm Prhartcom. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to List of pen names because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Do not add your own name to an article containing a list of names. Prhartcom (talk) 04:35, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Nomi Writes. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 10:16, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notability and promotion

I see that at Talk:Nomi writes, in opposing a deletion nomination, you wrote "if wikipedia do this people will never know who was nomi writes and what he did". Unfortunately, that one statement contains two separate reasons why such articles should be deleted. Firstly, it states that the person is unknown, and therefore does not satisfy Wikipedia's notability standards. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information about anything, and to be the topic of an article a subject needs to have already received substantial coverage in reliable published sources. Secondly, it states that your purpose in writing the page is to make the person's work better known, in other words to promote his work, which is contrary to Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia is not a medium for promoting or publicising little-known people and their work. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 11:38, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article Nomi Writes has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the prod blp tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Please stop adding yourself to List of pen names

Hello; please stop adding yourself to the article List of pen names. Wikipedia is not the place for self-promotion, as that is a conflict of interest. We only add what is verifiable by reliable sources. Thanks. Prhartcom (talk) 13:43, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Arslan Ash requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://gulfnews.com/world/asia/pakistan/pakistani-gamer-taking-the-tekken-world-by-storm-1.65711700. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Information icon Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Arslan Ash. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. —MelbourneStartalk 14:20, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
