Attempted assassination of Nancy Pelosi → Assault of Paul Pelosi – We don't have enough details to be sure that this was an attempted assassination of Nancy; most coverage focuses on what actually happens, which was an assault on Paul Pelosi. Relevance of Musk buying Twitter to the attack?

"The attack was staged to coincide with the midterms and Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter." This comes off as WP:CRYSTALBALL as it assumes the assailant's actions were connected or relevant to Musk buying Twitter when the claim is unincited in the lead I couldn't find any source or statement in the body either. Assailants motive including influence by far right conspiracy theories would be much more relevant to the lead than crystalball statements. -UtoD 08:18, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
