Bennett University was established under Uttar Pradesh Act No. 24 of 2016 under Gazette notified by the Government of Uttar Pradesh Vide No 1402(2)/LXXIX-V- 1-16- 1(Ka)- 25-2016 dated 16 September 2016.

The university is ISO compliant under four categories:

  • Quality Management System (QMS) Standard – ISO 9001:2015
  • Environment Management System (EMS) Standard – ISO 14001:2015
  • Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) Standard – ISO 45001:2018
  • Energy Management System (EnMS) Standard – ISO 50001:2018


As per the UGC letter dated 27th March 2018, Bennett University was established by the Act of State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh as a private university and is empowered to award degrees as specified under section 22 of the UGC Act to the students studying in its main campus in regular mode with the approval of Statutory Bodies/Councils, wherever required.

The 68-acre sprawling green campus is located at Greater Noida. The campus has residential facilities for students, as well as day scholars can also enroll for their desired programs.

The six schools under the university offers undergraduate, post graduate, PG Diploma, PG certificate and PhD programs. The medium of instruction is in English.

Notable Faculties

The university has robust placement team to facilitate and assist students to make their foothold strong in the industry with several rounds of internships and securing placement through excellent performance in academics. The Bennett University has a completely residential 68 acre campus in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

The campus contains administrative and academic blocks (consisting of classrooms and labs), girls and boys hostels, and sports facility.

It has a supercomputer (NVIDIA), purchased through a MoU between School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and NVIDIA.[2]
