The discography of American singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus consists of three studio albums, two live albums, one extended play, eight singles, eight music videos, and two soundtracks. Cyrus' debut studio album, Meet Miley Cyrus, was released in June 2007. It was the second disc of the double album Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus, which peaked at number one in the United States (where it was also certified three times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America) and in the top ten in Canada, New Zealand, and Norway. The lead single from the album, "See You Again" became Cyrus' breakthrough hit, peaking at no. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and no. 4 on the Canadian Hot 100.[1] In March 2008, she released the live album Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert, which peaked at number three in the United States and Canada.

Led by the single top-ten single "7 Things", Cyrus' second studio album, Breakout, was released in July 2008 and peaked at number one in the United States, Canada, and Australia. It was certified Platinum in the United States, United Kingdom, and Ireland, and Gold in Germany, Australia, and Spain.

Her first major contribution to a soundtrack (not counting credits to the Hannah Montana character) was in 2009 with the soundtrack to Hannah Montana: The Movie. The song "The Climb," from the soundtrack, peaked at number one on Billboard's Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart in July 2009, making Cyrus the second-youngest artist to top the chart after LeAnn Rimes' "How Do I Live" in 1997.[2]

In August 2009, she released the Wal-Mart-exclusive extended play The Time of Our Lives, which peaked at number two in the United States. The lead single from the album, "Party in the U.S.A.," debuted at number one on Billboard's Hot Digital Songs chart with download sales of 226,000.[3] Cyrus has recorded four charity singles, including "Just Stand Up!" with Artists Stand Up to Cancer in 2008, and "Send It On" with Disney's Friends for Change in 2009. On November 1, 2009, "Party in the U.S.A." became Cyrus's third single to narrowly miss out on the top ten in the United Kingdom, by peaking at number eleven; along with "See You Again" and "The Climb".[4]

Cyrus' third studio album, Can't Be Tamed, was released on June 21, 2010 in the United States. The lead single from the album, "Can't Be Tamed", peaked at no. 8 on Billboard's Hot 100, while the album itself peaked at no. 3.
