The Catalan national football team is the team of Catalonia, Spain, and is controlled by the Catalan Football Federation. Catalonia is neither a member of FIFA nor UEFA and does not participate in international tournaments. Since 1912, it plays occasional matches against national teams, which rarely field strong sides.
