Aračinovo (Macedonian:Арачиново; Albanian: Haraçinës) is a municipality in the northern Republic of Macedonia. Aračinovo is also the name of the village where the municipal seat is found.

The municipality borders Lipkovo municipality in the north, City of Skopje in the west, Petrovec municipality in the south and Kumanovo municipality in the east.

Demographics

According to the last cencus in 2002[1], the municipality have 11 992 inhabitants, and in the census of 1994 it had 9 960 inhabitants.

Thhe ethnic structure of the municipality is the folowing: 90,72% are Albanians, 8,23% are Macedonians, 0,54% are Bosniaks, 0,11% are Serbs, 0,01% are Vlachs and 0,39 other.

The municipaality is rural, meaning that all the inhabited places within it are villages. The number of the inhabited places in Aračinovo Municipality is 4.
