Disagree. Current name is more descriptive than proposed and proposed violates our commitment to a neutral point of view. But, the current is too long. The problem with "2024 Columbia University protests" is that there have been multiple 2024 protests at Columbia before 17 April, for example over the skunk attack incident in January. I first raised my concern about the misinformation in this article at 04:17, 22 April 2024 (UTC), although my original discussion post on the topic has since been removed from this talk page, citing WP:ECR. I am concerned at how this article is presenting a disputed and highly provocative claim about a sensitive topic (that a pro-Israeli student had access to an IDF chemical and used it against protestors) as a proven fact, and it seems to me a violation of WP:NPOV. Almost every news article that has been written about this topic presents the claim that the students were sprayed with skunk as a claim made by the pro-Palestinian protestors -- however, this Wikipedia article currently does not use the same language, instead presenting it as proven fact, citing a relatively obscure news organization the Middle East Eye, an outlet which has its own history of controversy related to antisemitism rather than any of the other major news organizations that have chosen more moderate language to convey the non-established nature of the claim. The only time "burn tel aviv to the ground" appears in the times of israel article is from a linked tweet by a former Israeli ambassador and "Director of the Digital Diplomacy Bureau, Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs."
