The 2016 Shanghai Rolex Masters will be a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It will be the eighth edition of the Shanghai ATP Masters 1000, classified as an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the 2016 ATP World Tour. It will take place at Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena in Shanghai, China from October 9 to October 16, 2016.
