The 2023–24 season was Bologna FC 1909's 115th season in existence and ninth consecutive season in the Serie A. They also competed in the Coppa Italia.

On 12 May 2024, Bologna clinched qualification to the UEFA Champions League, returning to Europe's top-tier club competition for the first time in the Champions League era and first time in any capacity since 1965.[1]
