The 2020–21 season is the 119th season in the existence of Stade Rennais F.C. and the club's 27th consecutive season in the top flight of French football. In addition to the domestic league, Rennes will participate in this season's edition of the Coupe de France and will enter the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the group stage as a result of finishing in third place during the previous Ligue 1 season. The season covers the period from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021.
