Heavy Metal Mania was a music program consisting of heavy metal and hard rock music videos airing on MTV. The video block was usually an hour and aired once a month. It was hosted by Dee Snider (Twisted Sister frontman) or special guests host of bands at the time. Heavy Metal Mania was a precursor to Headbangers Ball, and debuted in 1985.
