Banira Giri (born 11 April 1946) is Nepali poet who has published many works such as Karagar, Mero Aviskar – poetry collection, Sabdatit Shantanu etc.[1][2][3][4]
She was the "first woman to be awarded a Ph.D. by Tribhuvan University for her thesis on the poetry of Gopal Prasad Rimal."[5]
