Akbarpur is a village located in Kapurthala district, Punjab.

Demography

As per Population Census 2011, the Akbarpur village has population of 1157 of which 600 are males while 557 are females. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village.[1] The population of children under the age of 6 years is 121 which is 10.46% of total population of Akbarpur, and child sex ratio is approximately 1161 higher than state average of 846.
