Barbie Hsu
Template:Chinese name Template:Infobox Chinese-language singer and actor Barbie Hsu Si-yuan (born 6 October 1976) is a Taiwanese actress, singer, and television host.[1] From 1994 to 2001, she was a member of the pop duo ASOS (originally called SOS for "Sisters of Shu", the name changed to ASOS for legal reasons) with her younger sister Dee Hsu. As such, Hsu is also known by her nickname "Big S" (while Dee Hsu is nicknamed "Little S"), but Barbie is the middle child in the family. As an animal-lover, she is a vegetarian.
As an actress, Hsu is probably best known for her lead role in the 2001 television series Meteor Garden. She has semi-retired after her 2010 marriage, with no work released since 2012.
Personal life
On 16 November 2010, Barbie married Chinese entrepreneur Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) in a civil ceremony Beijing[2] and held the wedding banquet on Hainan Island on 22 March 2011.[3]
On October 2013, there are reports that Barbie may finally be pregnant with a child after trying for 2 years. The news was confirmed by her mother. Her daughter was born on April 24, 2014.[4] Recently, Barbie’s mother implicitly confirmed her daughter was expecting a second child, saying last week that she would leave it to Barbie to announce the good news. Barbie Shu has endorsed Tissot watches since 2005 and signed an additional 3-year contract in April 2008.
