Bishanpur is a village in Kapurthala district of Punjab State, India. It is located 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from Kapurthala, which is both district and sub-district headquarters of Bishanpur. The village is administrated by a sarpanch, an elected representative of the village.[1]

According to the report published by Census India in 2011, Bishanpur has a total number of 292 houses and population of 1,479 of which include 732 males and 747 females.
