Chili is an unincorporated community in Richland Township, Miami County, Indiana. Commonly pronounced "CHAI-lye" by Hoosiers.
History
Chili, originally called New Market, was surveyed in 1839.[2]
In 1886, the Peru and Detroit Railway was extended to Chili.[3]
Geography
Chili is situated on the north bank of the Eel River. Chili is located at 40°51′36″N 86°01′35″W / 40.86000°N 86.02639°W.
