Jennie Elizabeth Eisenhower (born August 15, 1978) is an American actress. She has performed in a number of theater productions and had minor roles in some feature films.

Early life

Eisenhower was born in San Clemente, California,[1] the daughter of Julie Nixon Eisenhower and David Eisenhower. Her maternal grandparents were former U.S. President Richard Nixon and First Lady Pat Nixon, while her paternal great-grandparents were former U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower and First Lady Mamie Eisenhower.[2] She spent her childhood in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania,[2] and graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.[1] She was presented to society at the International Debutante Ball.[3] She has one brother, Alex Richard Eisenhower (b. 1980), and one sister, Melanie Catherine Eisenhower (b. 1984).[4]

Career

On stage, Eisenhower has performed Off-Broadway and at regional theaters across the United States. She is currently based in Philadelphia, where she has won two Barrymore Awards: Best Actress in a Musical (2009) for Forbidden Broadway's Greatest Hits,[5] and Best Supporting Actress in a Musical (2004) for The Wild Party.[6] She has also been nominated for Barrymore Awards for her work in Parade at the Arden Theatre, Show Boat at the Media Theatre, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Theatre Horizon in Norristown, Little Women at Bristol Riverside Theatre and A Grand Night for Singing at the Walnut Street Theatre. She has small roles in the films Mona Lisa Smile, and Arthur.[7]

Personal life

Eisenhower is married to Anthony Cheslock; they have a daughter named Chloe.[8][9]
