Metlan Khairabad is a village in Bhulath Tehsil in Kapurthala district of Punjab State, India. It is located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from Bhulath, 27 kilometres (17 mi) away from district headquarter Kapurthala. The village is administrated by a sarpanch, an elected representative of the village.[2]

According to the report published by Census India in 2011,Metlan Khairabad has 211 houses with the total population of 974 persons of which 502 are male and 472 females. Literacy rate of Metlan Khairabad is 76.10%, higher than the state average of 75.84%. The population of children in the age group 0–6 years is 112 which is 11.50% of the total population.
