The Oligochaetocystinae is a subfamily of parasitic protozoa in the phylum Apicomplexa.

Taxonomy

There are four genera in this subfamily: Acarogregarina, Echiurocystis, Neomonocystis and Oligochaetocystis

History

This subfamily was created in 1956 by Meier.[1]

Description

The oocysts are cylindrical without thickening at ends.
