PTV World is a 24-hour Pakistani English news channel[1] owned by Pakistan Television Corporation. PTV World was inaugurated on 29 January 2013 by former president Asif Ali Zardari..[2] It is state owned channel, offer a mixture of programming encompassing:

  • News (National & International including Business, Sports, Weather, Entertainment)
  • Current Affairs (Analysis based programs focusing on national, international and regional issues)
  • Entertainment (Event Shows, English Dramas, Serials & Soaps, Reality Based Shows, Religious, Social and Cultural programs)
  • Infotainment (Awareness promos, constructive tips & techniques, public service messages)
  • Documentaries / Docu-Dramas on national & international interests
  • Music (The legends, the icons, their journey and their teachings)
