Pornography in Greece was at a time an industry employing about 1,000 people, with the 1980s sex films being produced in remote locations, often dubbed in English for export.[1] The pornography industry in Greece later went downhill as it faced competition from Eastern Europe [where?] and Internet-based pornography which is often available for free.[1]
