Air Marshal Ramaswamy Rajaram ( 1917-1969) DFC, service number 1573 was a Vice Chief of Air Staff(VCAS) of the Indian Air Force. He was the AOC-in-C, Western Air Command at the time of 1965 India-Pakistan War. He was awarded Padma Bhushan for his leadership in the war. Ramaswamy died of Leukemia in 1969 in service.[1] He received Distinguished Flying Cross in 1945.[2]
