pro-family

[edit]

Isn't it POV to call these people "pro-family"? Seems debatable at best. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.24.132.174 (talkcontribs) 01:44, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In one short line, you reveal =your= POV. If an organization which has no purpose apart from advocating political action for families (as they see it) wants to call itself "pro-family", why are you upset about it?Alcuin of York (talk) 11:26, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think that when you go on the air and tell your listeners how critical it is to make your queer children homeless and destitute and work to keep all support from them until they "repent" of their "sin" of homosexuality (or whatever), that "pro family" is just an out and out lie. This comment is being eight years later, of course, so there's no real point in leaving it here? But I'm leaving it anyway.
And don't tell me this didn't happen, I used to transcribe Concerned Women for America radio broadcasts. Not for them, of course; as opposition research. It was pretty helpful when they were backing laws keeping me and mine varying degrees of illegal, or making me and mine more so.
But I'm not even tying that in. That's other peoples' families, one could say. No - she used to tell her listeners to make their own children homeless. Calling that "pro-family" isn't just "POV" - it's an obscenity.
Best part is, I don't even know if I'd be allowed to add that to the article. I'm sure it would be deleted, no matter how true it is. "Primary source" and all that. 173.160.243.46 (talk) 08:12, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Citations needed

[edit]

I made a bunch of changes to the article. It still needs citations for the proposition that LaHaye is the current CWA chair, for the sentence on the LaHayes' children, and for the proposition that Liberty University gave LaHaye an honorary Doctorate of Humanities degree in 1992.
