  • ... that West Virginia nursing professor Christine Elizabeth Abrahamsen wrote science fiction and Gothic novels under the pseudonyms "Christabel" and "Kathleen Westcott"? Source: "Pseudonym of US nurse, professor of nursing, and author Christine Elizabeth Abrahamsen (1916-1995), who wrote at least one Gothic as Kathleen Westcott, Bride of Kilkerran (1972). As Cristabel, she began publishing sf with the florid Veltakin sequence of Planetary Romances: Manalacor of Veltakin (1970) and The Cruachan and the Killane (1970). Her singletons were The Mortal Immortals (1971) and The Golden Olive (1972). All are written in a style that crosses the romance genre with boys' fiction. [PN/JC]" SF Encyclopedia.

  • Hi West Virginian, review follows: article moved to mainspace on 26 December; article exceeds minimum length and is well written; inline citations used throughout to what appear to be reliable sources (I am not familiar with the Encyclopedia of Science Fiction but happy to AGF that it is); I didn't pick up on any overly close paraphrasing from the sources I can access; hook fact is interesting, mentioned in the article and checks out to the sources; a QPQ has been carried out. Looks fine to me - Dumelow (talk) 10:30, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
