I'll have a look through this one. Initial thoughts are that it looks good: mostly going to be nit-picking points I think! Harrias talk 00:05, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lead
  • Link ice hockey on first use in lead.
  • Use an endash in the scoreline (15–0).
  • Link Goals against average in lead.
  • "The local arena in Asbestos.." The word "local" is redundant, and can be removed.
Early life
  • Remove the link to ice hockey from here, given you'll have linked it in the lead, which will avoid the awkward double link with goaltender.
  • Provide some explanation of what an "All-Star team" is, either through a note, or at least a wiki-link.
  • Any information on the result of his single game with the senior team in his first year? That would be interesting.
  • Similarly, is there any more information on what he did with the military, which service even?
  • "1938–1939" and similar throughout the rest of the article can be written "1938–39", per the WP:HOCKEY MOS.
Hockey career
  • "...but did not report." What does that mean? He refused to play for them?
  • Is there a more up-to-date reference for the lopsided shutout, so we can say "as of 2015" or at least 2014?
Career statistics
  • Why is "Quebec Junior Hockey League" written in full, but everything else abbreviated, it looks very odd.

Hi, thanks for the review! I think that I've taken care of most of these, except that I could not find any information on single senior game that one year... my understanding is that usually this occurs when they need to make a last-minute replacement or try someone out, so it probably was not an interesting enough story to be recorded in any secondary sources... or at least not any that would be available to me. Also, "did not report", as far as I understand, simply means that he didn't show up to play with them, for whatever reason. It tends to suggest that he refused to play for them, I believe, but without a source stating that, it would be speculation. Anyways, please let me know what else I need to take care of!
