Name
[edit]This article should be retitled 2011 Moroccan Protests, there is no "Jasmine Revolution", that was a made up name by western media, and has never been used in Tunisia or anywhere except the Chinese Internet.

Renaming the article
[edit]Because no more protests were reported since February 20, I suggest the article be renamed to 'February 20 Moroccan Protests'. What do you think about it? -- Hydronic (talk) 21:30, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
- Agree, however I think we can wait a few days to be sure that there will be no protests this week-end --Omar-Toons (talk) 11:52, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
- Agreed - It's now March 2, 10 days after the protests.--Smart30 (talk) 12:24, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
- This article mentions a protest in Casablanca on the 26th. Vis-a-visconti (talk) 13:01, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
- A protest that has only gathered a thousand people, whereas the February 20 protests gathered 37,000. --Hydronic (talk) 16:48, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yesterday there was major protests in Casablanca. The article needs major updates and expansion. Moroccan police break up rally, hurt dozens-witness -- The Egyptian Liberal (talk) 18:09, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Date format
[edit]There is no consistent date format in the article. Some dates are dmy (20 February 2011), while others are mdy (February 20, 2011). Even in the timeline section, different items use different formats. I don't care which format is used (though I suspect Morocco uses dmy), but a single format should be used. I can use a script to change to a consistent format with one click, so I'll make edits both ways, and let other editors decide which to use. -Rrius (talk) 22:13, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
