The result of the move request was: Moved to Katie Duncan. EdJohnston (talk) 17:20, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
Katie Hoyle → Katie Duncan – or Katie Hoyle-Duncan. she goes by Katie Duncan now. Joeykai (talk) 21:05, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose Well, you give us options for a new article name, but what we need are reliable sources that she's changed her name, and that she's now known by that new name. Schwede66 19:25, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
- Support as per twitter, Fifa etc. ... I think that an important think is that this is how she presents herself. The redirect from Katie Hoyle will always help people searching by that name find the article. Surely we cant be less accurate than FIFA. GregKaye 08:37, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- Support Katie Duncan per sources, but the article needs to reflect that. (I've edited it.) Red Slash 23:29, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
Note
[edit]Without meaning to influence this request, I've gone ahead and changed the names within the article to reflect her evident self-attribution. Red Slash 23:36, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose per naming conventions guideline Multiple_and_changed_surnames_.E2.80.93_patronymics_and_matronymics. She became notable as Katie Hoyle, everything prior to her recent marriage refers to her as such and is still most commonly referred to as Hoyle in the football circles for which she is notable as evidenced by the New Zealand football article from as recently as March this year when she earned her 100th cap [1], and this Women's World Cup related article from this month despite her legal name now being Duncan.--ClubOranjeT 11:20, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
