  • This nom is good to go. The article is both new and long enough, and within policy. The hooks are all formatted properly and interesting. Personally I'd rank them ALT0, ALT2, ALT1, and ALT3. They're all sourced properly and suitable for the DYK section, although ALT3 might be a little too niche(?) or not interesting to a broad enough audience. (I personally am interested, because filmmaking, and thus set design, is cool to me, but idk if others would be intrigued). That being said, they're all good to go for DYK. QPQ is done, as well. • Personally, I prefer ALT2 over ALT0, but both are good. Wracking 💬 05:53, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wracking, I went with ALT0 because of the inclusion of a female film director from Bosnia, which to me helps address systemic bias at DYK on multiple fronts. Valereee (talk) 19:42, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Almost there. Some minor copy changes and a question about the reference used in the footnote. Ping when done. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 05:58, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know? If you fancy doing so, I always have plenty of GA nominees to review. Just look for the all-uppercase titles in the Television section. Reviews always appreciated.

Copy changes

  • 30-foot-tall Consider a {{convert}} for this unit.
  • Žbanić was offered to direct the previous two episodes—"Please Hold to My Hand" and "Endure and Survive", which take place in war-torn Kansas City, Missouri—as she had lived through the Siege of Sarajevo, but she was more interested in "Kin" as it demonstrated a functioning society; she felt she had survived in Sarajevo due to solidarity, which she wanted to reflect in Jackson Split this mammoth sentence.
  • Snow was removed at SAIT and foliage was added to both locations Avoid a WP:CINS edge case by removing the second "was".
  • The A.V. Club's David Cote praised her control of the episode's varying tones, and wrote "Kin" was "probably the most visually gorgeous episode so far" Remove comma

Sourcing and spot checks

[edit]
  • 3: The two body references check out, but it doesn't mention in which episode Sarah's death was depicted. Is this fixable? checkY
  • 7: Announcement of Žbanić as director. checkY
  • 16: Town of Canmore announcement on filming. checkY
  • 23: Mentions the fictional University of Eastern Colorado as a game element being adapted into the series. checkY
  • 35: IndieWire review: The matter-of-fact presentation of Jackson is where “Kin” benefits most from Žbanić’s steady hand. checkY

Images

[edit]

There is one fair-use image (with NFUR, and I think it appropriate given the deliberate callback to the game). There are four CC-licensed images and another two with VRTs from the official account. (Great stuff!) All images have alt text.
