- I did see this, but after reading the Stanford Law produced piece by a now law professor at a top school, and reading the quotes from newspapers, I think the above story is simply a myth (or just plain BS). Aboutmovies (talk) 18:38, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- I agree the other sources are probably more reliable, but if anyone runs across the book Oregon Trivia by Ted Magnuson (ISBN 1558536019), it might be worth checking out if Ted had any sources for this claim that we haven't seen. --Esprqii (talk) 19:10, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
