Wikimedia Foundation's Blog

[edit]

The blog posted an article about M. Heller, mostly about the article about him on Polish Wikipedia. I think it may be of interest for some readers, but it may be too 'soft' and self-promoting of Wikipedia to put it in the main article. Tarnoob (talk) 20:08, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Source for German descent?

[edit]

I mean, with his surname he can be a Walddeutscher, but if so, saying he's of German descent is like claiming that every Scotsman called Grant or Fraser is of French descent... technically correct, but a bit of an exageration when you consider how "foreign descent" is usually construed. 2A02:A310:8238:6800:149C:5F92:522B:91C8 (talk) 23:56, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
