Remove map
[edit]Strange map: Kurds, Zazas and Hemşinlis claimed to be Indo-German. I read all related WP articles (see WLs provided); nowhere does it say these folks are Indo-German people. Removing this map... --E4024 (talk) 18:59, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- Indo-German is sometimes used to refer to Indo-European, as a synonym. Your ignorance is not a reason to remove the map. Athenean (talk) 21:40, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Minorities in Turkey
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Minorities in Turkey's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Greeks - Edit request
[edit]While we spare only 3 lines for 40 to 70 thousand Turkish Armenians, we spend three long paragraphs for the Greeks of Turkey, who are less than 3. Someone please trim this section accordingly. There is also a "main article" in the section. I will not add blue links for the reasons of my request. --E4024 (talk) 15:44, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
This means nothing, in fact I believe this section should be further expanded to include some info about the general history and the government policies adopted there (from 20th).Alexikoua (talk) 20:48, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
- Indeed, instead of "trimming" any sections, what needs to be done is to expand the article. Regarding the Armenians, in particular, I'm sure there is much to tell. I already made a stab at it, but surely there is more to add. Athenean (talk) 04:12, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

Map
[edit]Semsûrî: The map is based on Dr. Michael Izady's work for the Atlas of the Islamic World and Vicinity (New York, Columbia University, Gulf 2000 Project: 2006-present). This is written in the sources section of its wikicommons page, I don't think it is the best source for the subject, but it is still reliable. Ahmet Q. (talk) 14:53, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
Merge
[edit]Merge Draft:TURKEY AND ITS MINORITIES → Minorities in Turkey
Bookku, 'Encyclopedias = expanding information & knowledge' (talk) 11:47, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
- Hi. This is a very clear and well written article, I do not see any specific area that can be merged with the draft you presented, am I missing something? Can you clarify what you want merged? --TataofTata (talk) 14:47, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
Kurdish area exxageration
[edit]Some maps exaggerate kurdish majority areas very much. it shows kurdish majority some areas which have %100 Turkish majority areas like middle east and northwestern regions of Adana province, northwestern region of Osmaniye province, northwrstern region of Sivas province, south of Kastamonu province. There is only 1 kurdish village in south of kastamonu but they show kurdish all municipaliy. İt is soo wrong. 46.154.149.227 (talk) 11:28, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
- You need to provide reliable sources for your claims. Ahmet Q. (talk) 13:24, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
are you retarded, dont you need providation to your changes too? you have upload an map to this page, and it has a lot of mistake like western part of Adıyaman province. western part of Adıyaman has Turkmen majority in its 3 municipalities. you are dastardly two-faced and you are idiot as much as to think noone can not understand your two-faced actions. you have to remove your minority partisan map. it sooo much mistakes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.231.57.72 (talk) 12:45, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
Correctiveness of the map
[edit]The which semsuri always putting in site has a lot of mistake and misinformation. There is not so huge kurdish majority area in east of Adana Province. Yes kurds exist but THEY ARE NOT MAJORİTY İN EAST OF ADANA. there are 3 kurdish villages in northern Adana but there are a lot of Turkish villages surrounding them. But in the map hundreds of Turkish villages are showed as kurdish. There is Turkish majority in west of Adıyaman province. But according to map there is any Turkish village in wrst of Adıyaman. Arapgir municipality has Turkish majority but map shows it like kurdish. Doğansehir province has Turkish majoroty but map shows it like kurdish majority eveeywhere of it. Kastamonu has only 1 kurdish village but a lot of Turkish majority areas painted like kurdish majority. And there are a lots of other mistakes too which i need to look at map to memorize. You are always changing my map because of you say it has no reference. Then tell me where is the reference of the map which you put on the page? You are acting double standard. You are so far from being fair. 46.154.203.170 (talk) 05:14, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
- Which references have been used for the map? The current map is perhaps unaccurate but it is sourced. --Semsûrî (talk) 10:30, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
