General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation

Image eligibility:

QPQ: Done.

Overall: Nominated 4 days after creation, certainly long enough, well written and well sourced. Image is not great quality unfortunately, but I'm not sure there's much that can be done about that - it might be better to not include the image in DYK? I prefer the first hook, which is interesting and clearly sourced. Note: I am fairly new to DYK review so happy for someone else to check and comment. User:Melcous, I'm fine with not including the image, since I'm sure that there will be better ones in the list the day it hits the main page. Thanks for the review, you did great. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 16:54, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Article needs work; too much close paraphrasing of this source as can be seen here. Melcous, please ask for help at WT:DYK if you need a hand given that you are new to this; thank you for pointing this out in your review (top marks). Courtesy pings to Christine and PMCH2. I'll leave it up to PMCH2 if they want to continue with or close the nomination. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 04:19, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I will work on it this weekend. PMCH2 (talk) 11:33, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have made edits to the article to address the close paraphrasing. At this point, any similarities that remain are mostly the names of organizations in which she had a role. Let me know if further edits are needed. Thanks to User:Melcous and User:Schwede66 for the review. PMCH2 (talk) 14:59, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Melcous and Schwede66: this article should be good to go, without the image. I'd say pass the nomination. theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (they/them) 05:48, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Restoring tick as per previous review. Close paraphrasing has been addressed. Schwede66 09:33, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
