Brigidine School → Queensmead School Windsor – The school has changed its name QueensmeadSchoolWindsor (talk) 09:10, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 12:28, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- @QueensmeadSchoolWindsor, William Avery, and KylieTastic:
- No evidence for this. Website is still there at http://www.brigidine.org.uk/. William Avery (talk) 09:14, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- Also the latest government School comparisons still have Brigidine School Limited at that address link. The school is still tweeting this year from https://twitter.com/brigidineschool. However it looks like the school may be changing in the future, as the company has changed name at companies-house link. QueensmeadSchoolWindsor wait until the school has actually changed (or there is evidence it has) then ask for the page move - noticing also the policies Wikipedia:Username policy and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 10:00, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose - I've found out this where they state Queensmead is the school structure and [1] where they've changed the address (note they again changed the name and address in November) so it may well change names in the future however at present there's nothing that actually states this is happening so as such this article should remain at its current name until they themselves announce it or news sources announce it. –Davey2010Talk 14:32, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
- This now has happend so I've updated and moved. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 20:22, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
Repeated attempts to violate WP:PROMOTION
[edit]User:QueensmeadWindsor has attempted twice to include promotional information with a biased point of view, contravening WP:PROMOTION and WP:NPOV. I have undone the edit each time. Wikipedia is not an advertising platform. "combines the very best in academic standards", "is a happy, caring and inspirational environment", "dedicated staff", "offers a rich and exciting programme of co-curricular activities enjoyed in the most beautiful learning environments", and "elegant Victorian structure" are examples. Articles should be properly referenced to support any statements made. Bazza (talk) 15:20, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
