Rory McLeod (snooker player) → Rory McLeod – Currently a disambig page for two articles, one here, and the other for Rory McLeod (singer-songwriter). I suggest that the snooker player is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, and in this case, the disambig is simply there to add another level on the pages. There is already a hatnote on the singer-songwriter, and this one should also be hatnoted, but as the primary topic (see similar move for Shaun Murphy only a little while ago.   • Oppose. Every WP:2DAB contains an entry which has more views than the other entry, but such an argument could be considered as a proposal to eliminate all two-entry disambiguation pages. The snooker player does not appear to have such overwhelming prominence as to be the incontrovertible WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. But the "neither topic has a clear advantage" argument was not presented in the nomination. Sure, but "such an argument could be considered as a proposal to eliminate all two-entry disambiguation pages" is quite a leap on your part. I'm not sure how that comment was relevant to the nomination which implicitly suggests that in this case the snooker player has primary usage over the singer-songwriter. Variations upon "the disambig is simply there to add another level on the pages" argument in this nomination are sometimes presented in two-dab discussions to contend that two-dabs simply impede access to the desired entry and that if one entry has a couple of views more than the other entry, the first entry should have the base name along with a hatnote pointing to the other entry. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 20:43, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Leaning oppose. We seem to have a fairly obscure musician and a fairly obscure snooker player. If this were someone like Tracy Chapman on the music side, or Stephen Hendry on the snooker side, we'd have a clearer PRIMARYTOPIC one way or the other, but I think this would come down to whether you're a bigger fan of snooker than of folk music. I'm skeptical we could do much of a meaningful RS analysis, because almost everything written about the musician is going to be in the music press, and everything about the snooker player in the snooker or at least sports press, because neither are notable for anything outside their field.  — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼  12:24, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak support. In the last year Rory McLeod (snooker player) has 26,958 views, Rory McLeod (singer-songwriter) 5,831, Rory McLeod 969. Seems to indicate that the snooker player is indeed the primary topic. However it seems that nearly everyone gets to the articles via other links, not directly.
