Itu terjemahan ada yang salah

[edit]

Sy hendak menanyakan terjemahan dari bagian syair ini:

Lantaran sang Poetri, nanti menjadi ada

Artinya:

  • because of your daughter, will be.

Seperti yang kita tahu, be dlm bahasa Inggris adalah jadilah (anak yang pandai, dll), menjadi, dll. Anda, Kak Kris, menerjemahkan bagian kata nanti menjadi ada sebagai will be. Masalahnya, will be (apa?) artinya nanti menjadi (apa?) Itu sy bingungnya di situ. Bisa kakak perjelas dia nanti menjadi apa (dlm terjemahan bahasa Inggrisnya)? --Adi.akbartauhidin 05:20, 25 October 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adi.akbartauhidin (talkcontribs)

Successful good article nomination

[edit]

I am glad to report that this article nomination for good article status has been promoted. This is how the article, as of October 26, 2012, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: I did a bit of copyediting to each sect before passing this, please go back over each sect for run-on sentences, or just any sentences that have way too much use of commas, and go on for a while, that could in the end be two, or maybe even three, separate sentences.
2. Factually accurate?: Duly cited throughout.
3. Broad in coverage?: I'd suggest going forward in quality improvements to greatly expand the Legacy section, including some Reception of those later works and adaptations, especially the film. Not a sticking point now, but certainly something to discuss at a future peer review discussion where you should post to relevant WikiProject talk pages and bring in previously uninvolved editors.
4. Neutral point of view?: Written in a neutral tone throughout.
5. Article stability? Article edit history and talk page history is stable upon inspection going back over one month.
6. Images?: Image usage passes.

Nice job! If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to take it to Good article reassessment. Thank you to all of the editors who worked hard to bring it to this status, and congratulations.— — Cirt (talk) 16:41, 26 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for the review, Cirt. A lot of the films from that era have little information on their reception (most are lost) so I'm not sure how much more development the legacy section can take. I'll keep an eye out for Ie Soei Tio's Lie Kimhok 1853–1912, which may have more. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 22:37, 26 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
