Endorsement removal
[edit]I removed who she endorsed for president. Her endorsement is merely an opinion and fact not opinions belong in the article. She was among those who might be a candidate for president IS a relative fact, WHO she is going to vote for or chooses to endorse is just her opinion and does not belong in a fact based encyclopedia —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.26.92.212 (talk) 07:12, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
List?
[edit]#59 on Bernard Goldberg's list of 100 people screwing up America? What could she possible have done? Was it making a real dent in taking care of the debt her Republican predecessor left her? Or attempting to fix the sewer system? I'm baffled, and I'll be danged if I'll waste good money on Goldberg's screed.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.218.52.219 (talk • contribs) .
- What "Republican" debt? Bill Campbell was and is a Democrat, not a Republican. Democrats have had Atlanta's mayoral seat for decades.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jonas Salk (talk • contribs) .
Alma mater is Howard University, not Morehouse College. Refer to CityMayors article.
I live in Metro ATL and I rigorously keep up with the local news headlines about Shirley Franklin. This page should mention both the former and present controversies involving Franklin, as she is alleged by many as corrupt, indigent for a mayor, and deceitful to the citizens of the city.
This link shows the controversy involving her and her entire immediate family's allegations of crime - http://www.11alive.com/news/article_news.aspx?storyid=108145
^^
And this link proves what I mentioned that Franklin's code of ethics (or maybe lack there of) is a true concern for Atlantans. http://www.11alive.com/news/article_news.aspx?storyid=108145 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 168.28.136.22 (talk) 03:39, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Should there be an infobox on this page?
[edit]There is no infobox for this page, as well as no pictures at at all. ---- Chris Brack :P 02:33, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
New picture
[edit]Can someone please post a better picture? The current one is obviously a two-shot with the other person rather awkwardly cropped out. Patricia Meadows (talk) 14:30, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
