AfC review

[edit]

I have had some difficulty in reviewing whether this article should be accepted, as the main reference on which to determine notability dates back to 2001 and numerous of the other citations are offline. I have no reason to doubt the factual accuracy of the content, but only some of the references are verifiable. There are only the Japan Times articles that are available online and provide an independent indication of notability. On balance, I think the subject is probably notable, but accept this may be overturned in a subsequent AfD discussion. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 20:58, 19 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Curb Safe Charmer and I understand your concerns. You are correct she is notable but to help you understand why perhaps this article on her that just came out today on the Japan Times may help you determine her notability status. She is truly known but you do have to take into consideration that people who have done major things prior to the inception of the internet only have archives that are not online. This person should be regarded as wiki notable. Please check this article and decide. But I do hope this article gets the go. The 20 Questions sections on The Japan Times is for high-profile candidates. This is why she is notable or else she can't get an interview like that written about her. Thank you for your consideration! [1] Songuitar333 (talk) 00:23, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Translating this page to Japanese or linking to a Japanese page

[edit]

I have been researching how to translate this page. My question is, do I need to log into a Japanese wikipedia page and then create the same page in Japanese and then link this using the Language bar on the top right corner of this artists page? I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you! Songuitar333 (talk) 02:58, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
