Taoyuan–Zhongli metropolitan area

According to the definition of metropolitan areas used by the Republic of China (Taiwan) government, Taoyuan–Zhongli metropolitan area (桃園中壢都會區) includes the following areas:

Taoyuan City		New Taipei City
Bade District Pingzhen District Taoyuan District (core city) Yangmei District Zhongli District (core city)	Daxi District Guanyin District Guishan District Longtan District Luzhu District Xinwu District	Yingge District

However, since the 25 December 2010 readjustments of the municipalities (an adjustment that only affected Taoyuan-Zhongli indirectly, as a small part Yingge Township became a district of New Taipei), the Republic of China (Taiwan) government has abolished the definition as obsolete.^[1]
