LIST OF THE BUSIEST AIRPORTS IN THE CENTRAL EUROPE

This article presents the list of 31 busiest airports in Central Europe, ranked by total passengers per year, including both terminal and transit passengers.

The term 'Central Europe' is understood here in the sense defined at the Congress of International Geographical Union held in 1994 in Prague, i.e. as the region of Europe comprising the teritories the following countries: Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Slovenia. The same definition has been used by The World Factbook (CIA), Encyclopædia Britannica, and Brockhaus Enzyklopädie (1998).
