A thank you cookie for addressing disruption. Royalbroil

Thank you for keeping the original research / misinformation out of the List of NASCAR champions article. Wikipedia is not the place to debate how NASCAR decides it's champion. While I strongly disagree with NASCAR's method (and it caused me to lose most of my interest in the series), I realize that this content doesn't belong in Wikipedia. Wikipedia is the place to report the results. You can see that I've been taking larger steps to keep this disruption out and I'm prepared to take even larger steps to permanently end the problems. Thanks for finding a source for the release dates for the next batch of games out of Game Pack 005. By the by, have you taken a look at the challenge on the main article's talk page? If you can help out, please do! --McDoobAU93 (talk) 22:23, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can you help?

[edit]

Since you understand the concept of color-coding the results on the Jimmie Johnson article, could you help me out on 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series? I add the information from here, but I add them per the standings, which can be found here. Thanks. Nascar1996 20:46, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for some help, please note that there are 78 in total that should be finished. You don't have to do all of them unles you want to. Nascar1996 19:13, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, you don't have to have the description on the INJ or DNP, you can do it like 2010 Formula One season Nascar1996 20:40, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm, okay. --Wean0r (talk) 20:46, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The idea came from it. Thanks for your help. Nascar1996 22:49, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have a question, do you think owner points should be used in the article? I forgot that it was owners, and once I thought about it most viewers only know the driver, not their owner. What is your opinion? Nascar1996 21:26, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I actually started editing it during the race, probably about twenty minutes before you threw the template in, to begin with adding those already out of the race, and then as soon as it finished, I then added in full results and points standings as per the live leaderboard, since the live points standings table was still stuck back as if only 299 laps had completed. Wikipedia processed the edit and submitted it without giving me any edit conflicts, which makes the direct undo-ing without even checking to see whether the section had actually been updated as with the current results all the more infuriating and insulting, hence my rage in the edit summary. TheChrisD RantsEdits 20:45, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) Wean0r, why did you revert TheChrisD's edit when it was helpfull to the project? Is it because you would like to add to the table, or what. It just doesn't make sense. Nascar1996 21:04, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Are you here anymore? We would like you to return if you can. Nascar1996 20:25, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
