Also you flagged another page the same "PHD Virtual Technologies". The other top 5 virtualization companies have profiles and I fail to see why this would also be flagged as PHD are a key company in the development of VM Tech.
Please can you delete the flags for deletion?

Blue ice: the meme, the movie[edit]
Hi, saw you just removed (one of) the references to the movie Blue Ice from the article about aircraft waste, saying the movie is about some other kind of "blue ice".
Not having seen the movie myself, I can't say definitively whether this was or wasn't the right thing to do, but there are references on the web to Michael Caine's character first describing the phrase (in reference to the female lead) as meaning "something wonderful that's fallen out of the sky," and later more sardonically saying it really refers to a lump of excrement that fell out of a plane.
This would seem to indicate the entire purpose of the movie title is as a setup for this joke, which would indeed tie it right into the article.
Do you know for sure either way how this is actually used in the film? I was going to poke around a little more to try to find a citable source, but if you've seen the movie lately and tell me that's pointless, I'd be glad to give that up... Regards, NapoliRoma (talk) 12:41, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- I didn't see the movie. I've undone the edit. I think the main problem was the edit history. It's just that a link to that movie without any further comment looked strange. At the most there should be an internal link in an "See also" section, not just an imdb link.--ospalh (talk) 13:28, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- I think it was added there to supplement the reference to the movie in the body of the article -- and should have then been a reference, rather than a "See also".
- Since the movie now has its own WP article, I think your removal was actually the right thing to do; I just got thrown off by the edit summary -- which is I think what you were suggesting happened :-). Cheers, NapoliRoma (talk) 15:40, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
Arrow Air incident[edit]
Yeah, I was wondering same thing... I believe it was in Spanish as my mate could translate parts of it, but yet I though Brazil spoke Portugese. - Thanks for the explanation and welcome back at Wikipedia. The meaning of the {{sic}} is exactly that it was spelled Hindenberg in the original (I looked up the track listing at amazon and on other web pages.) I guess Richard Bone did mean the LZ 129 Hindenburg. Even if he didn't, at least some people (read, me) could think he did mean the airship. - I didn't say it wasn't true. (I guess that's what you mean by "genuine") I'm not even saying it's not a worthwile project. (I have an opinion on that, but will keep it to myself.) (Other than that, I have no idea how a film could be "illegimiate") I said it may not be notable. To be blunt, I'm not sure why anybody outside your church would give a wet slap about this film. And that's at least a part of of notability. Another part is having some idependant, reliable sources. I also said that there may be a conflict of interest. You just said that you are the producer; presumably you want that film to be a success. - I'll admit, I do want the film to be a success. And I understand that some people may not agree with the message of the film (if that's what you meant). What I meant by "illegitimate" was just those little movies that people make for fun... this film will have a limited theatrical release, which is why I have created an article for it. - I'm sorry, I won't be able to help you. Venice Beach is some 10,000 from where I am. So I can't just hop into a car to take some photos there. [edit] I just made that edits to the Venice article because a) I was fixing misspellings of Ozzy Osbourne in a number of articles, b) that article was a false positive but c) tried to link to itself.--ospalh (talk) 13:19, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

CCCP/SSSR[edit]
I appeciate that CCCP is not latin but with aircraft registrations it is normal to record what is actually painted on the aircraft which is CCCP-12345 not SSSR-12345. AWB "cleanup"[edit]
Hello. Your edits to 1956 FA Cup Final changed page numbers used in Cite journal templates from the format pages=pp. 46–47 to just pages=46–47. This template doesn't supply the pp. automatically: as the documentation mentions, it's correct to add the pp. manually if required. It is required in this article for consistency of reference formatting, particularly so as it's a featured article and expected to conform absolutely to the Manual of Style. AWB eg --> e.g.[edit]
Hi there. I encountered a page where this (apparently sensible) correction you made was not justified, on the page Germanic name where 'eg' was listed as a typical prefix of a Germanic name (e.g. Egbert). Why are you changing Bela Lugosi to Béla Lugosi? While he may be known in his home country with the diacritcal, his greatest fame came in the U.S., where he did not use it. The WP article is at "Bela Lugosi". Please explain your reasoning. Will Beback talk 09:04, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Red Link Recovery[edit]
Hello. As a German-speaking WikiGnome, I'd like to solicit your help in testing a new tool. For a few years now, the Red Link Recovery Project has been using the Red Link Recovery Live tool to track down and fix unnecessarily red links in articles. Recently, the tool has been expanded to work on non-English Wikipedias. A small set of suggested fixes for red-links on the German-language Wikipedia have been prepared and I'm hoping to interest some German-language speakers (such as yourself) to work through them.

Disambiguation link fixing one-day contest[edit]
I have decided to put on a mini-contest within the November 2013 monthly disambiguation contest, on Saturday, November 23 (UTC). I will personally give a $20 Amazon.com gift card to the disambiguator who fixes the most links on that server-day (see the project page for details on scoring points). Since we are not geared up to do an automated count for that day, at 00:00, 23 November 2013 (UTC) (which is 7:00 PM on November 22, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the project page leaderboard. I will presume that anyone who is not already listed on the leaderboard has precisely nine edits. At 01:00, 24 November 2013 (UTC) (8:00 PM on November 23, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the leaderboard at that time (the extra hour is to give the board time to update), and I will determine from that who our winner is. I will credit links fixed by turning a WP:DABCONCEPT page into an article, but you'll have to let me know me that you did so. Here's to a fun contest. Note that according to the Daily Disambig, we currently have under 256,000 disambiguation links to be fixed.
